SEVERED SWANS - Key Persons
Yvette Ross is a director and screenwriter based in London. She regularly writes scripts that she produces via Severed Swans production company and also works collaboratively with Shoe String Filming on their short films projects and showreel services.
She was given a unique opportunity to explore her lifelong interest in film and animation in 2004, when she took part in a 48-hour film challenge. This unexpectedly turned into a 48-hour private tutorial in film production, from script to final edit. Since then she has been working consistently on a variety of projects from short films and music promos to bespoke showreel scenes.
Most recently Yvette's TV pilot Carnivores and pitch for a thriller series Hide n' Seek made it to the top 4% in the Red Planet ITV Prize 2020. Most recently my TV pilot and pitch for a thriller series made it to the top 4% in the Red Planet ITV Prize 2020
In 2015, Yvette's short screenplay "THE BOGEYMAN" was a FINALIST for Create 50: The Impact competition, as part of The London Screenwriters Festival.
