Tuscan Imports was born out of our own love for Italy. I developed a deep affection for Italy, and especially my wife's home city, Firenze, during the eight years my family lived in the region of Tuscany. I learned to love the culture, the land, the food, the people, and their love for art and craftsmanship. Having mixed feelings about returning to the States in 1998, we attempted to carry a part of Italy with us. We applied stucco to our walls, built old brick arches, put a wood burning brick oven in our yard, and brought a large assortment of terracotta so that we could recreate Italy in our home and garden. We soon realized we were not the only ones who appreciate quality terracotta!... Terracotta exists in many qualities and forms. At Tuscan Imports, we offer only hand crafted Italian terra cotta which is, simply put, the best in the world. All of our terracotta is frost proof.
