Arun Mathew joined Accel in 2009 and leads growth investments in the enterprise, security, and infrastructure markets. Arun works closely with 1Password, BetterCloud, Code42, Dealer.com (acquired by DealerTrack), ForgeRock, G2 Crowd, PagerDuty, Qualtrics (acquired by SAP), ServiceChannel, Squarespace, Tenable (TENB), Webflow, XebiaLabs, and Yapstone. Arun also leads the firm's Tech Council initiatives and spends time in India, where he is active with Accel's investments in Flipkart, BookMyShow, Ola, and Freshworks. Arun is from Nashville, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Carilu Dietrich is a strategic advisor to high growth tech companies. Carilu was recently the CMO of Classy, the leader in mobile and online fundraising software for nonprofits. Previous to Classy, Carilu was the Head of Corporate Marketing at Atlassian, where she re-positioned the company for an incredibly successful IPO. Prior to Atlassian, Carilu was Senior Director of Awareness Advertising for Oracle where she wrote Oracle's global ads and spent $40M per year on ads in global digital, airports and print.

Erin Zipes - Chief Legal Officer

Erin joined 1Password in 2022 to lead the company's legal function. Previously, she served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel at Shopify (NYSE/TSX) from pre-IPO in 2014 until December 2021. Before that she was Assistant General Counsel at Nordion (formerly NYSE/TSX), and started her legal career at Stikeman Elliott.
Erin is a Founding Partner at Backbone Angels, an investor collective of women in tech focused on empowering women and non-binary founders who are often overlooked. Erin and Backbone Angels were a part of 1Password's Series C funding in early 2022.
Erin lives in Ottawa with her husband, two teenagers, and their dog. She is an aspiring runner (in reality a jogger), and enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.

Prior to joining 1Password, Jeannie De Guzman worked at Canada's largest software company, OpenText (NASDAQ/TSX: OTEX), as Senior Manager of Corporate Finance where she oversaw all Treasury functions. She then moved on to the software company BlueCat Networks, building the finance team from the ground up. BlueCat was acquired by private equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners in 2017 for $400M (Cad).
Jeannie joined 1Password in 2020 and has since nurtured the heart of 1Password's business through finance, human resources, and operations. Previous to all her industry experience, Jeannie obtained her Chartered Accountant designation and worked with KPMG LLP in Toronto.
Jeannie is a fan of cooking, traveling, and indulging in (as she lovingly calls it) "trash" TV.

Skilled in digital strategy, eCommerce, search engine marketing (SEM), digital marketing, and analytics, Jeff Shiner has a demonstrated history of growing businesses and working in the computer and network security industry. Prior to joining 1Password, Jeff was the Senior Development Manager of WebSphere Commerce at IBM Canada for eight years.
He then led the 400-person technology division of Rosetta, a customer engagement services company. 1Password's passion for building customer-focused solutions is what prompted Jeff to join the company in 2013. When he's not busy being a CEO or on Twitter, Jeff runs a LEGO shop with his son on Bricklink - he's the proud owner of more than 1000 pounds of bricks!

Julian comes to us having served most recently as the Sr. Vice-President of Global Sales at Lightspeed HQ, a company he helped scale from startup to IPO and through over 10 company acquisitions. Prior to Lightspeed, Julian held several roles in sales and marketing at Bell Canada and CIM.
Julian joined 1Password in 2020 because of the customer-centric culture and the love customers have for 1Password products and teams. In his current role, Julian leads the teams responsible for growth and overall customer health of the companies and users 1Password supports.
Through Julian's team, 1Password gains vital points of insight into what the market expects from a security partner and how 1Password can continue to meet customer needs as they evolve. When Julian's not working on shaping the customer journey, he loves spending time cycling outdoors.

Katya Laviolette is a business-oriented people leader with over 25 years of experience in talent management and acquisition, culture change, global rewards, organizational effectiveness, real estate operations, health and safety, and M&A. Before joining 1Password, she held senior positions at SSENSE, TC Transcontinental, CBC/Radio-Canada, Rio Tinto, Bombardier Aerospace, and CN. Katya is also a board director with Gecko Alliance (Desjardins Capital) and FX Innovation (CDPQ).
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and a Master's degree in Industrial Relations from Queen's University in Ontario. She has received several awards, including the E.S. Sunley Scholarship in Industrial Relations, the Queen's Graduate Fellowship, the Cameron-Wood Prize in Industrial Relations, and the Queen's University/IRC Press Prize. In 2000, she co-chaired the Governor General's Canadian Leadership Conference, as one of the youngest co-chairs. Katya is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (ORHRI) as well as a certified coach with Integral Coaching Canada.
Katya is actively involved in her community, having served many years on the board of Pour 3 Points (P3P), as well as mentoring women leaders within the Governance au Féminin organization.

Before he joined the team, Matt Davey was a consultant on software design for financial institutions like HSBC, First Direct, and BNP Paribas. He also consulted for technology brands like Nokia and Microsoft. Since 2012, Matt has worked on the design and user experience that makes 1Password the most-loved password manager in the world.
Matt is proud to be building an award-winning user interface for an app that helps millions of people stay secure online. A fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and a mentor through programs like CreateJobsLondon and outofofficehours, Matt's commitment to community more than makes up for his sometimes questionable bread-baking.
Natalia is proud of how quickly 1Password has been able to grow and adapt to continuously improve. One of Natalia's favorite memories is getting to see her husband, Roustem, present at an Apple Conference right after Steve Jobs.
In her spare time, Natalia loves binge watching TV shows with Roustem. She's also an avid reader and once read every book on The New York Times Best Seller list of that year.

Pedro Canahuati is the chief technology officer (CTO) of 1Password. Prior to 1Password, Pedro spent 12 years at Facebook where he held a number of roles committed to scaling its global infrastructure and ensuring 24x7 availability by developing a new industry standard for operations @ scale named Production Engineering.
Most recently, as the VP of Engineering for Security and Privacy his role focused on protecting users and their data. Prior to Facebook, Pedro led geographically dispersed teams, scaling complex web operations for companies like Buzzmedia, Qloud, Namemedia and Verio/NTT. Pedro holds degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of Maryland and American Intercontinental University.
At 1Password, Pedro applies his experience scaling teams and technology for one of the largest tech companies in the world, ensuring 1Password remains a leader in privacy and security. He drives product and infrastructure development for our production environments, client apps, data systems and IT. He ensures 1Password is building robust, reliable products and services that serve the families and businesses that entrust their data to us.

Before joining 1Password, Raj Sarkar was the CMO of Prisma Cloud at Palo Alto Networks. Previously, he was the Head of Marketing for All Teams at Atlassian, managing a portfolio of products including Trello, Confluence, Halp, and Jira for Business. He has extensive experience in launching and bringing new products to market for Atlassian, Google, Cisco, and Amazon. Raj has an engineering degree in electronics and telecommunications with an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Raj formally joined 1Password in 2021 after spending a year on 1Password's Advisory Board. Passionate around building low-CAC, low-touch GTM models and bringing a growth mindset to Enterprise Marketing, Raj sees huge potential in both 1Password's future and team. In his spare time, Raj enjoys reading, running, and hiking, or exploring the wineries and eateries of the Bay area.

For Roustem Karimov, 1Password started as a quick side project to solve the annoyance of remembering so many passwords when signing into different services. Of course, the rest is history!
As 1Password has grown, Roustem is proud of the team he's helped build and all the customers he's impacted along the way. One of his fondest memories is going to his first Technology Conference and happening to introduce himself to actual 1Password customers. It was fascinating to meet real people using his product.
Because of the constant growth and improvements going on at 1Password today, Roustem loves that he still gets the chance to continuously learn and try new things.
When he's off the clock, Roustem enjoys watching hockey and practicing yoga - something he picked up in the early days of 1Password's creation to keep him going through the long hours.

In 1Password's infancy, Sara Teare made sure that all the legal paperwork was done, taxes were filed, and bills were paid - all so founders Dave Teare and Roustem Karimov could focus on the fun side of building a product. When Sara reflects on how 1Password has grown, she's awed by everything she's helped build with the support of 1Password's loyal customers and employees.
Working with a team of people who are passionate about what they do drives Sara's excitement. Now, making it a point to be involved in several projects, Sara gets to keep shaping the exciting future of 1Password as it continues to grow. When Twitter and her two kids aren't keeping her happily busy, Sara loves playing card games and board games with her friends and family. In fact, most of Sara's favorite stories start with "We were playing cards the other night and…"

Prior to joining 1Password, Steve Won served as Vice President of Product at e-commerce business, Shogun, where he oversaw the initiation of the product team as well as leading multiple high-impact partnerships programs. Previously, he was Head of Authentication Products at Duo Security. As an early employee, Steve contributed across Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Product Management disciplines as the company grew to become a leader in user authentication and was acquired by Cisco in 2018.
Steve believes that always starting from the customer and their hardest problems is the guiding principle of product leadership. His role at 1Password will see him continue to strengthen the bond between customers and the world-class security products they rely upon.
Steve lives in Seattle with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys cooking, loves hiking in the Pacific Northwest, and spent the past few years "unnecessarily" building small form factor PCs and custom mechanical keyboards in lieu of travel.

Troy Hunt is a web security consultant and the founder of Have I Been Pwned, a free service that helps people establish if they've been affected by data breaches. Troy's been an advocate of 1Password since 2011 and has introduced millions of people to better password security.
Troy worked at Pfizer for 14 years and spent the latter half of that time working on application architecture in the Asia Pacific region. This experience gave Troy huge exposure to all aspects of technology and diverse culture.
Many of the things he teaches in post-corporate life are based on these experiences, particularly as a result of working with a large number of outsourcing vendors across the globe. Currently, Troy creates courses for Pluralsight and is a Microsoft Regional Director and MVP who travels the world speaking at events and training technology professionals. You can regularly find him in the press talking about security and even testifying before US Congress on the impact of data breaches.

Will Griffith is a partner at ICONIQ Capital, where he founded ICONIQ Strategic Partners, ICONIQ's growth equity platform that partners with founders and leaders of best-in-class, high-growth technology businesses.
Representative investments include Alibaba, Adyen, Airbnb, Blackline, Braze, Coupa, Datadog, Docusign, Gitlab, Flipkart, HashiCorp, Procore, Snowflake, Uber, Wayfair, Wolt and Zoom. Will also co-founded IPI, ICONIQ's data center real estate investment platform that designs, builds and owns global data centers that support the digital economy.
Will graduated from Dartmouth College, where he double majored in engineering and history and played football, and earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Will currently is on the Board of Overseers at Dartmouth's Thayer School of Engineering and Stanford Business School Management Board.
