EPFL+ECAL LAB

Founded in 2007, the EPFL+ECAL Lab is part of the EPFL Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, one of the top two research universities in mainland Europe (QS Ranking 2022). The lab's mission is to perform innovation, education and research through design practice with emerging technologies... All projects led by the EPFL+ECAL Lab are developed by our team in our studio space in Renens. Though not open to the public on a daily basis, you can visit the EPFL+ECAL Lab during different in-house events and exhibitions throughout the year and discover our research work and latest prototypes... The EPFL+ECAL Lab combines academic research, artistic creativity and cultural understanding to positively influence the human perception of new technologies.
