GERR MARINE

Gerr Marine is a naval architecture and yacht-design firm that designs yachts and commercial vessels, sail and power, monohull and multihull, in all materials: fiberglass/composite, wood, aluminum and steel. Designs are fast boats and displacement cruisers, patrol boats and workboats. Projects also include work on U.S. Navy submarines, hydrofoil powerboats, and hybrid or green boats/diesel-electric-battery powered. Dave Gerr is also a marine surveyor and performs specialized surveys for insurance companies and law firms. He as been an expert witness in a broad assortment of cases from marine-related homicides to routine insurance and damage suits. A chartered engineer, CEng, and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects, FRINA, Gerr is a graduate of The Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology.
