Britt Rosendahl Hansen

Job Titles:

Britt has technical expertise within physics, mechanics, materials science, magnetic materials, nanotechnology, software and characterization methods for experimental physics. She holds an M.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Copenhagen and a Ph.D. in experimental physics from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Before entering the IP profession, Britt simulated neutron scattering instruments as a post.doc. at DTU in collaboration with the large-scale facility ESS in Lund, Sweden, and has also taught physics and math at gymnasiums. Britt started working as a patent attorney in 2016 and during her years working in that role Britt has drafted and prosecuted patent applications, pre-screened possible new inventions, performed Freedom-to-Operate analyses and advised clients on a variety of IP topics. Britt joined Guardian IP Consulting as an IP consultant in April 2019.

Carsten Meyer

David Hendriksen

David has worked for more than 20 years as a patent attorney in private practice advising Danish and International clients in all matters of patent law. He has worked for clients ranging from smaller businesses and start-ups to some of the largest companies in the world. David has lived 3 years in the Netherlands successfully building up a patent operation for one of Europe's largest IP companies. Through his work, David has travelled in Japan, Korea, Russia, and USA and has an extensive international network of clients and business partners. As Examiner, she assisted national and international clients with IP searches and examined patent applications in a broad range of technical fields. Doris joined Guardian IP Consulting in 2023.

Eva Kamper

Eva joined Guardian IP Consulting in October 2022 after starting her career as an IP Coordinator in 2019. Eva handles the administrative parts of the patent application process in collaboration with our consultants. Eva has an educational background in art history, modern culture and communication and has previously worked professionally with communication at the Italian Institute of Culture in Denmark. Eva has currently passed the second part of the intellectual property administrator qualification.

Helene Juul Hansen

Helene holds a MA in Translation and Interpretation in German and a bachelor´s degree in English Business Language. Helene started in the patent business in 2006 as a translator and is now working as an IP coordinator. Helene makes a point of accuracy, punctuality, and responsibility in her work. Henrik Bagger Olsen

With his vast experience within a broad area of technology, inter alia electronic and electroacoustic systems and components, Henrik helps Guardian's clients by providing both practical and strategic counselling, so that they may know how to act in the complex global reality of intellectual property rights. Henrik joined Guardian IP Consulting as a partner in 2010 and is part of the management team. Before joining Guardian, he worked in the industry holding positions such as head of development and head of IP, and he worked as a consultant for several patent consultancies. By using invention harvesting, among other things, Henrik works to identify, select, and patent particularly valuable inventions with a global aim. Especially start-ups often have limited budgets when it comes to protecting their IP rights, but even with such limitations, Henrik can create noticeable value for his clients, e.g. in connection with capital raising or sale. Henrik works with the following areas of technology in particular: transducers, actuators, medical devices, electronic and electroacoustic components and systems, switch-mode power converters, hardware near electronic circuits, including semiconductors, MEMS technology, and application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC), e.g. proprietary memory circuits and digital signal processors (DSP). Since 1997, Henrik has counselled both Danish and international companies on all aspects of patent protection and enforcement. Henrik has comprehensive experience in the areas of invention harvesting, drafting and prosecution of patent applications, infringement assessments, Freedom-to-Operate (FTO), and opposition cases before the European Patent Office (EPO), including extensive experience in oral proceedings. Holm Schwarze

Holm Schwarze has worked for many years as a patent attorney in private practice, advising Danish and international clients in all matters of patent law. Holm is also dedicated to the education of patent attorneys in Europe and is actively involved in several national and international organizations within intellectual property. Holm has close contacts to a wide-ranging network of international IP practitioners and lawyers. In addition Holm has several years of experience as an R&D scientist and project manager in the railway and food industries. Holm Schwarze has extensive experience in the following fields: Assisting clients in the development of patent strategies and in the implementation of patent strategies into the day-to-day business operation Patentability evaluations, drafting and prosecution of patent applications Freedom-to-Operate analyses and infringement opinions Opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office Litigation support in Scandinavia and Europe. Lau Lund Olsen

Oliver Kuhn

Oliver has a technical background from research and development within experimental physics, semiconductors, optics, micro and nanotechnology and fluid mechanics. He puts his technical and scientific understanding to work when advising clients in a large variety of industries ranging from medico-technology to materials science, and from the renewable energy sector to computer technologies. Oliver primarily handles: Strategic advice within innovation with a special focus on patent related aspects Patentability evaluations, preparation and prosecution of patent applications Strategic investigations and monitoring, including competition management, technology investigations and Freedom-To-Operate analyses Legal challenges and appeals, including Danish and European cases. Oliver started working as a patent attorney in 2005 and joined Guardian IP Consulting in 2013.
