GRACE CHURCH - Key Persons

Amber Baker

Job Titles:
  • Family Pastor
I love serving the families at Grace Church. I have been on staff since 2014 and currently serve as the Family Pastor. I oversee the staff and strategy for birth through High School. I help staff, volunteers, and families understand the unique phases kids go through as they grow and how to leverage opportunities to help each child grow spiritually. With over 25 years of ministry, experience has taught me the value of leading from a place of authenticity and servanthood. I came to know Jesus at a young age. My testimony is that I have loved Jesus since I was five years old and have trusted him almost my whole life. I desire more kids to have the same testimony! Through all of life's trials, God has always been faithful. As you get to know me, you will find that my family is my most important ministry. My husband Josh and I have four children, Ashley, Samuel, Josiah, and Daniel.

Ben Johnston

Job Titles:
  • Kids Pastor
I have the privilege of serving as our Kids Pastor here at Grace Church! I oversee all our Kids ministries, birth through 6th grade. I began attending Grace as a part of my internship program at Azusa Pacific University, where I graduated with my BA in youth and family ministries in 2022. After interning with our student ministry, I was hired on as Kids Administrator, which led to my current position as Kids Pastor. I grew up in the church, but didn't fully take hold of my faith until my freshman year of college when God called me into ministry. My favorite Bible passage is Ephesians 2:1-10 which reminds me that I am saved by grace alone, not by anything I could do. I love Jesus and the Church and I'm passionate about discipline / teaching / leading kids and teenagers! I love my family, my friends, and my girlfriend, Lauren. I want to cultivate a ministry and leadership team where everyone feels seen and heard as a valuable member of the body of Christ.

Isaac Lepulu

Family: I have 2 loving parents, and five other siblings. I am the second oldest out of all my siblings. Fun fact there are six Lepulu kids and five are boys. I have one sister and she's the youngest. My name is Isaac Lepulu. I am the Worship Director here at Grace Church of Glendora, and I am passionate about cultivating and implementing new worship experiences for our congregation. I believe we serve an incredible and big God, so why not experience His presence in fresh, new ways?! I am originally from Palo Alto, California where I started leading worship at the very young age of 10 years old. It was at that young age where I developed a love for music, leadership, and people. I also seemed to develop a desire to learn every instrument I could get my hands on including piano, stand-up bass, ukulele, guitar, xylophone, etc. In my free time, I love exploring new cities, eating delicious foods, watching comforting movies, and playing volleyball with my friends and family; however, more often than not, you can find me searching the web for local concerts I can attend. I believe that Christ has placed certain, specific giftings in my life that have allowed me to fully step into my calling as, not only worship leader, but also as a steward of the next generation of worship leaders here at Grace Church of Glendora.

Mark Cook

Job Titles:
  • Worship Leader
I am one of the members of our worship team here at Grace. Since March 2013, I have been responsible for putting together and leading our traditional service here at Grace. I work closely with Pastor John to put together a service that lifts up the name of Jesus in worship and prepares our hearts for him to preach the Word. Leading worship has been a big part of my life. I was raised in a Christian home and came to the Lord as a child at the age of 6. I have grown in my love and walk with the Lord and have found leading worship is one of the gifts I believe the Lord wants me to use. I started leading worship in 1980 and have been doing it in some capacity ever since. As a worship pastor one of my favorite verses is Romans 12:1-2 where God calls us to be a living sacrifice for Him everyday and not to be conformed to the world but transformed. Worship helps us do that on a consistent and daily basis as we commune with God. Our family started attending Grace in 2002. My wife Heidi and I have 4 grown children and 5 grandkids. We like to say we have kids in every time zone so we spend a lot of time traveling to see them whenever we get the chance. I have been a businessman all the years of doing ministry. God has given me the flexibility to do both jobs over the years. I love serving at Grace and being a part of this great team of pastors and leaders here.
