Independent Cattlemen of Nebraska is an organization representing independent cattle producers in Nebraska in areas of marketing and trade issues in the live cattle industry, in affiliation with R-Calf USA. ICON's mission is to secure a viable livelihood for present and future generations of independent Nebraska cattle producers... The cattle industry is a major industry in Nebraska. In order to keep our state economy strong we have been formed to be an independent voice that represents our cattle industry and our interests at the state level, and to work with Nebraska's elected officials in Washington, D. C... Independent Cattlemen of Nebraska (ICON) represents, promotes, and protects the interests of only independent cattle producers and feeders.
