After a couple of years, it was decided to plant some basic nursery items to support west Layton's burgeoning growth. Naturally, garden supplies were added as well. Today, J&J Garden Center is Utah's largest producing nursery with over 100 acres under cultivation including five acres of greenhouses... In addition to the large retail operation, J&J is also the preferred provider of nursery stock for over 100 landscape companies. According to Jerry, J&J is so successful because they own all of their own land and water and can control all of their labor and transportation costs, which translates into high quality and reasonably priced nursery stock for the consumer and landscaper... Founded by brothers Jerry and Dave Stevenson, J&J Garden Center has grown from a family farm into Utah's largest producing nursery. Our roots trace back to the early 1900s when our great-grandfather farmed the land, growing crops like alfalfa, wheat, and onions. Today, we're proud to offer a vast selection..
