Anne Cusick

Anne Cusick is an Austin-based professional practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She has an active Jingui Golden Shield class Thursday evenings 6:30pm in South Austin. She has been studying Jingui Qi Gong in Austin since 2006 with Stephen Andrews under the lineage of Dr. Donxun Zhang. She also is a professor at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine since 2014 and has taught course in TCM Diagnostics, Acupuncture Energetics, Acupuncture Techniques, Medical Ethics and Legal and supervises in AOMA student clinic.

Darren Huckle

Darren Huckle, L. Ac., DAOM is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, Jingui Golden Shield Qi Gong instructor and holistic health educator. Darren has been teaching Jingui Golden Shield Qi Gong for over 10 years in Santa Cruz and Marin. Though Darren teaches classes in herbal medicine, local plants, nutrition, and acupuncture; teaching qi gong is one of his favorite things to do. He finds it incredibly rewarding to see the powerful changes in his students especially their enhanced sense of self alignment and confidence. Whether in sessions with clients or while teaching qi gong classes Darren strives to empower and inspire patients/students to develop self care strategies for creating and maintaining vibrant lives. David Moore

David Moore, L. Ac., CMT is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. His background in kinesiology , bodywork, and acupuncture gives him a deep anatomical insight into the benefits of training. He has focused the majority of his time studying different holistic healing therapies and uses a combination of modalities in his personal practice. He has a warm presence and his students receive a complimentary acupuncture treatment monthly.

Ellen Gennaro

Ellen Gennaro was born in Manhattan, New York, attended Pace University, and after spending many years pursuing her career at a major Northeastern Public Utility, moved to Scottsdale Arizona in 1999. After many years of study, Ellen has earned her certification as a Fit-150 instructor and instructor of Jingui Golden Shield Qigong, a highly specialized system for Health and Longevity. She is currently in the "Pure Energy" level, studying under Dr. Zhang, the Master & lineage holder of this system. Students can participate in this level after completing & sealing in all 5 physical levels of training as well as Bridge. In addition to earning these certifications, she is a Certified Body Talk Practitioner, Certified Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master Teacher and a Reconnection Practitioner.

Felicity Kelly

Felicity Kelly, L. Ac. practices acupuncture in Fairfield and Burlington, IA. She is a graduate of Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Phoenix, AZ and is NCCAOM certified. She is an instructor of Jingui Golden Shield Qi Gong and member of the Jingui Instructor Advisory Committee. She taught Transcendental Meditation from 1975-2002 in the U.S., Europe, Thailand, The Philippines and India. She started teaching in 2002 in Chicago, IL, Fairfield, IA, Pheonix, AZ and British Columbia, Canada. Felicity currently teaches in Burlington, IA.

Mary Ida Adams

Mary Ida graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has trained in eastern health programs, being an Ayurvedic Massage therapist for 20 years. Other professional activities include organic gardening and greenhouse management. She has been a student of Jingui Golden Shield for 17 years and an instructor of Dr. Zhang's systems for Sixteen years, teaching in Minneapolis, Iowa City, Iowa and took over running the Fairfield School five years ago.

Matt Van Dyke

Matt Van Dyke, EAMP, MTCM is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist practicing and teaching in Bellingham, WA. He is on faculty, and is currently Director of Herbal Studies at Middle Way Acupuncture Institute in Mt. Vernon , WA. Matt came to the East Asian Healing Arts through an interest in Asian philosophy. As his own healing Journey began to unfold, he discovered the practical aspects of Eastern thought including acupuncture, herbs, and qi gong. Matt has been studying Jingui Golden Shield Qi Gong since 2002, and has been teaching since 2007. Qi gong has been a powerful and positive force in his life, and he is happy to share and proliferate this teaching.

Pat Riker

Training in Jingui since 2001, teaching since 2005. Previous experience in dance, yoga, childbirth, education, and art.

S Daniel Zafar

The lineage found Zafar in 2012 while he was in the midst of a major awakening and needed guidance. Since then he has harnessed the gifts of this practice to mold life into what he wants to create. While he is widely knowledgeable on various topics in philosophy and Chinese medicine, he is highly technical and works as a big data software engineer. He will help you grow your qi and container through non-verbal transmission as well as in-depth verbal discussions on the finer details of the practice and lineage.

Stephanie Ryan

Stephanie Ryan has been a student of Jingui Golden Shield Qi Gong since 2003, and an instructor since 2014 teaching in the Metro Phoenix area. She takes an active interest in every student to ensure they get everything they can from the program. She goes full heart, and her students feel she is right there with them through their class. When she is not practicing or teaching, she spends her leisure time hiking and pursuing her interests in meditation and healthy organic food.

Stephen Andrews

Stephen Andrews, L. Ac, MAOM, is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist and qi gong instructor. He holds a Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin. Stephen is also nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). At an early age he began to realize the incredible powers of the mind and body, and has since been interested in health and longevity. Stephen first began studying qi gong and other forms of meditation in 1994. He has studied extensively in Jingui Golden Shield Qigong since 1997 and starting teaching in Austin and Dallas in 2003.

Teresa Freese

Teresa has studied and practiced Dr. Zhang's Qi Gong under his instruction for the past 20 years. She is in charge of the Jingui Golden Shield Qi Gong School's Teacher Training Committee. She teaches Dr. Zhang's most advanced qi gong levels and has been Dr. Zhang's principal assistant for the last 14 years. She has been trained directly by Dr. Zhang in his unique approach to Chinese Acupressure, Z-Acu-Therapy, for acute and chronic pain, stress and insomnia. She is passionate about sharing these healing modalities and helping others to achieve health, happiness and longevity in their lives.

Tim Chrisco

Tim Chrisco became a student of Golden Shield Qi Gong in 1996 and began his personal practice. In 1998 he received his Golden Shield Instructor certification and began teaching this system to others. Tim has been very fortunate to have Dr. Dongxun Zhang as his primary instructor since he began practicing in 1996. Dr Zhang is the Master and lineage holder of this system. Tim attests that this practice has been, and still is, the most amazing thing he has ever done in his entire life. It is so rich and so complete. Words can't explain it. He is grateful to have the opportunity to learn and share this incredible practice.
