Educational Enterprises, Inc. was formed in 1994 and its mission is to empower individuals through education. Dr. Rooney taught in the public school system, was an educational diagnostician in a multi-disciplinary clinic, was director of a learning center and was director of an Attention Disorders clinic before going into private practice. As Dr. Rooney's work began to grow and become more multi-faceted, a small company was formed with several divisions. Instruction and professional development to share the learning strategies that were developed by Dr. Rooney formed one branch, assessment comprised another and consultation was the third. Dr. Rooney began presenting on the local and national levels while continuing to work with individuals. The company expanded to produce educational materials such as Wordstorming and Reverse Diagramming as well as the strategy instruction manuals for upper elementary, middle and high school students, which are entitled Independent Strategies for..
