Chris Shade

Dr. Shade is an Environmental Chemist and founder and CEO of Quick Silver Scientific. He is a globally recognized expert on mercury and liposomal delivery systems. He has lectured and trained doctors in the U.S. and internationally on the subject of mercury, heavy metals and the human detoxification system. Dr. Shade developed the patented liquid chromatographic mercury speciation technology used at Quicksilver Scientific while conducting his Ph.D. dissertation work with advisor Robert Hudson at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This technology was used to create the Mercury Tri-Test. Dr. Shade's current focus is on the development of cutting-edge, lipid-based delivery systems for nutraceuticals, such as liposomes and micro-emulsion systems to address the growing need of high quality, affordable detoxification solutions. Dr Elisa Song

She founded Whole Family Wellness (formerly Whole Child Wellness), an integrative pediatric practice in Belmont, CA - one of the first and most highly regarded holistic pediatric practices in the country. Dr Song created Healthy Kids Happy Kids - dedicated to empowering parents to take charge of their kids' health … naturally! Dr Song is a holistic pediatrician, integrating conventional pediatrics with functional medicine, holistic nutrition, homeopathy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and essential oils. Dr Elizabeth Mumper

Dr. Mumper is President and CEO of The RIMLAND Center. Her general pediatrics practice is Advocates for Children. Advocates for Families is her practice devoted to the care of children with autism and other neurodevelopmental problems. She graduated magna cum laude from Bridgewater College with a degree in General Science. She attended the Medical College of Virginia, did residency training at the University of Massachusetts and University of Virginia, and was invited to serve as Chief Resident of Pediatrics at UVA. Dr. Mumper has written book chapters about allergy, immunology and behavioral and developmental pediatrics published in the book "Pediatrics" published by Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins.. During the past five years, she has conducted clinical research at the Rimland Center and published five peer reviewed articles in the medical literature.

Dr Frank R Golik

MBBS (Hons Qld) FRACGP, graduated from the University of Queensland with 2 nd class Hons in 1975; 2 years as junior RMO at Royal Brisbane Hospital; 1 year as Senior RMO at Atherton Hospital, Nth Qld. He commenced in solo Private Family Practice in Clayfield, Brisbane in 1979. He later formed a multi-disciplinary clinic in Clayfield some 11 years ago. Dr Golik gained his fellowship in the RACGP in 1982; and is a member and occasional lecturer of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. His special areas of interest and passion are Autism, ADD/ADHD/ASD, Musculoskeletal medicine, Dietary and lifestyle therapy, Thyroid conditions, Chelation therapy and the Metabolic Syndrome. Biomesotherapy forms a significant part of the therapeutic approach of his Clinic. He has attended the Bill Walsh Outreach/Training since 2005 and has attended the MINDD conferences since 2005.

Dr Leila Masson

Leila Masson is an integrative Paediatrician who combines Allopathic Medicine with a nutritional and biomedical approach to help her patients attain optimal health. She received her medical doctorate from the University of Berlin, did her paediatric specialist training at the University of California at San Francisco. She received her Masters in Public Health from Harvard University and her Diploma in Tropical Medicine from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Leila has worked in the US and Europe and volunteered for 2 years setting up a clinic in Pakistan, before moving to New Zealand, where she has lived and worked for the last 12 years. Leila has a busy practice in Auckland, specializing in a holistic approach to children's health problems, including allergies, asthma, behaviour problems, autism spectrum disorders and ADHD. Dr Martha Herbert

Dr. Martha Herbert, author of The Autism Revolution, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, a Paediatric Neurologist with subspecialty certification in Neurodevelopment Disabilities at the Massachusetts General Hospital, a Principal Investigator and an affiliate of the HST-MGH Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. She is director of the TRANSCEND* research program, a multimodal brain imaging and biomarker research program. Her background in paediatric neurology, evolutionary biology and history of science has influenced her orientation toward systems biology, brain connectivity and brain-body interrelationships. Her research program includes studying what makes some autistic brains unusually large, how the parts of the brain are connected and coordinated with each other, and how we can develop measures sensitive to changes in brain and body function that could result from treatment interventions. She ran the first study of the emergence of medical and brain symptoms in young infants at high risk for autism, and is building a research platform for studying the relationship of brain metabolism to brain signalling abnormalities.

Dr Maya Shetreat-Klein

Maya Shetreat-Klein, MD is a neurologist, herbalist, urban farmer, and author of The Dirt Cure: Healthy Food, Healthy Gut, Happy Child (Simon and Schuster, 2016), which has been translated into ten languages. She has been featured in the New York Times, The Telegraph, NPR, Sky News, The Dr. Oz Show and many more. Board certified in adult and child neurology as well as pediatrics, Dr. Maya completed the University of Arizona's Fellowship in Integrative Medicine, and now serves on their faculty. She works and studies with indigenous communities and healers in Ecuador. Dr Michael Fenech

Dr Michael Fenech is renowned internationally for his research in nutrition and genetic toxicology and for developing the cytokinesis-block micronucleus (CBMN) assay which is a gold standard method used internationally to measure DNA damage in human cells. His key goal is to determine the nutritional requirements for DNA damage prevention. He was awarded the Flinders University's Convocation Medal in 2007, the Alexander Hollaender Award (USA) in 2008 and the honorary title of Adjunct Professor (University of South Australia) in 2009 for his leadership/contributions to environmental/public health sciences internationally. His publications have been cited 6,500 times (917 times in 2008, 890 times in 2009) and his H-index is 41.

Dr. Nancy O'Hara

Dr. Nancy O'Hara is a board-certified pediatrician. She was the Assistant Medical Director for Defeat Autism Now! Physician Training and the Physician Mentoring Director for Defeat Autism Now! in Europe. She is now a partner at the Center for Integrative Health. Prior to her medical career, Dr. O'Hara taught children with autism. She graduated magna cum laude from Bryn Mawr College and as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society from the University of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine. She earned a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh. After residency, chief residency and general pediatric fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. O' Hara was in private practice for seven years. Since 1999, she has dedicated her practice to the integrative and holistic care of children with neurodevelopmental disorders and autistic spectrum disorders.

Ingrid Villata

Ingrid Villata is a qualified language teacher and a practising Landscape Architect. Her work experience over the past 22 years includes private residential projects as well as working for both Randwick Council and Holroyd Council in Sydney. Ingrid also designed garden makeovers for Boral and created kitchen gardens for several primary schools. Her passion for holistic health was ignited by her European parents, growing up with an awareness about feeding your body unprocessed, fresh food. The household vegetable garden was and still is overflowing with herbs and vegetables. Freshly picked bitter green radicchio is a staple part of her diet!

Jeanette Padilla

S. Jill James, PhD is a nutritional biochemist who has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers. She has over 20 year's research experience in abnormal folate metabolism and disease susceptibility. Her research has focused on defining gene-nutrient interactions that increase susceptibility to cancer, Down Syndrome and most recently, Autism.
