Even though the first P.F. Chang's opened in 1993, our story began in the early 1960s when Philip Chiang (our co-founder) worked in his mother's authentic Chinese restaurant. After graduating from art school, he channeled his creative and culinary talents into cooking his mother's authentic recipes and opened a restaurant of his own. His mission back then was simple: to share good food with his friends. He never set out to build a global restaurant brand, but here we are! And even as P.F.
