The PMHA was founded in 1968 by local business leadership to provide rental assistance to Ravenna residents. In 1977, the housing authority increased its service to all of Portage County and is now a political subdivision created by the state of Ohio... PMHA is proud to be an honoree of the High Performer status awarded by HUD. This qualifies PMHA for additional funding allocations to make capital improvements. To receive this distinction, PMHA demonstrates exemplary performance in financial stewardship, management operations, facility management and capital funding.
