Working closely with Nick Fletcher over an 18 year period, David played a key role in successfully building and growing a leading City based advisory firm, of which he was a Director for 22 years. David shares Nick's passion for truly independent financial advice and, in addition to his client work, has a particular interest in the regulatory and operational side of the business, having previously held the role of Compliance Officer. David provides advice to Partners / retired Partners of leading City law and accountancy practices, executives in industry and family estates, and is a member of the firm's investment committee. David is a Chartered Financial Planner and an Associate of both the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute and is registered as a Client Advisor in Switzerland. In addition to spending time with his family, David enjoys badminton, skiing, helping with his son's football team and archery.

Ian McCafferty

Ian McCafferty is a former external member of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee and former Chief Economic Adviser to the CBI. Prior to his roles at the Bank and the CBI, Ian was Head of Macroeconomics at BP, Chief International Economist at both NatWest Markets and Baring Securities and also worked at The Economist and the International Chamber of Commerce, in Paris. He is currently also a Senior Adviser to Oxford Economics and Visiting Professor at King's College, London. Ian is a member of the Investment Committee at London Wall Partners, where his expertise as a leading economist adds to our in-house economic research and analysis. Ian graduated from Durham University, and conducted his postgraduate work at the University of Amsterdam. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Business Economists.

Prior to joining London Wall Partners in August 2016, Jonny spent two years as an investment manager in a wealth management company. As part of the investment team, he gained valuable experience of financial markets, as well as wider financial planning. Jonny holds the Investment Management Certificate and the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (Securities). He read Economics at Cardiff University. Outside of work, he has a keen interest in sports, and particularly enjoys playing hockey, golf and cricket.

Julius Haswell

Prior to joining London Wall Partners in March 2022, Julius spent nearly four years in the equities team within the asset management arm of a Swiss private bank. Here he covered the Global Healthcare and US Utilities sectors for the global equities fund, and also gained experience in portfolio management, helping to manage a thematic, concentrated long-only equity portfolio. Before that, Julius read Modern and Medieval Languages at King's College at Cambridge University. Outside of work, he enjoys playing music and singing in choirs, and also has a keen interest in rugby, cricket, and football.

Ken Volpert

Ken Volpert has built diverse investment management teams for nearly 30 years. His last 26 years (1992-2018) were with Vanguard where he built up their bond indexing business from a $1 billion business with two portfolios to a $750 billion business with global investment teams and more than 80 portfolios. He has a track record of developing numerous diverse leaders at Vanguard who are currently in senior roles in the investment group. Prior to 2007, Ken was the fund manager of Vanguard Total Bond Market Portfolio as well as Vanguard's TIPS portfolio. From 2007 to 2014 Ken managed the taxable bond business for Vanguard in the US which included all Vanguard's actively managed bond funds and index funds. Ken was instrumental in transforming Vanguard's active bond management process which involved significant change management and team training and development. From 2014 to 2018 he was Head of Investments for Vanguard UK and Europe (London based) where he oversaw Vanguard's 80 person investment team in UK/Europe covering all asset classes in addition to managing the global bond indexing business (investment teams in the US, Europe and Asia-PAC). Ken has significant experience with the challenges and complexities of matrix management of global teams. Since returning from Vanguard in 2018, Ken has completed all training to receive his ACC coaching certification from the International Coaching Federation so he now also provides executive coaching to leaders in the finance sectors. In addition, Ken serves on a few non-profit Boards and Investment Committees. He has a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois, an MBA from the University of Chicago, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Associate Certified Coach (ACC). He resides in Santa Monica, California with his wife.

Prior to joining London Wall Partners in 2015, Kishan spent nearly three years with UBS in the Wealth Management Chief Investment Office and Investment Bank. During his time in the Chief Investment Office, Kishan worked as a European Economist based in the Zurich-headquarters, where he developed a strong understanding of global macroeconomics and multi-asset strategy. Prior to this, in the Investment Bank, he was responsible for the development of investment funds for retail and institutional clients within a managed accounts platform. Kishan started his career at Ernst & Young, advising financial services clients on their transfer pricing policies. As a CFA Charterholder, Kishan has developed knowledge across a broad range of global asset classes and financial instruments. Kishan read Economics at University College London. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, has a keen interest in sports (being a keen Arsenal supporter) and spending time with friends and family.

Prior to joining London Wall Partners, Mark spent 13 years with KPMG in its Financial Services practice, initially as a graduate trainee in Audit and then for 10 years in Transaction Services in London, where he ultimately became a Director. During his time in Transaction Services, Mark gained significant experience and insight into the strategic, commercial, financial and operational drivers of a wide range of financial services businesses through his work on a large number of transaction evaluation, vendor assistance / due diligence and capital markets engagements. Mark is a qualified CA with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, and also has a First Class BAcc (Hons) degree from the University of Glasgow and an Executive MBA from ENPC (Paris) / the University of Edinburgh. Michael Bray

Michael is a senior international banking lawyer with more than 50 years of experience practising in the City of London. Michael joined Coward Chance (which later became Clifford Chance) in 1970 and was a banking partner in that firm, and latterly a consultant, until he retired in 2015. He held a number of senior management roles at the firm and in the period leading up to, and after, 2000, he helped the firm to navigate through its mergers with US and German firms. He was the firm's CEO from 2000 to 2002. During his career at Clifford Chance, Michael acted for many of the world's leading banking institutions. He is used to advising at Board level and during and after the financial crisis in 2008, he often acted as a high level strategic legal adviser to major financial institutions on issues ranging from litigation disputes to the implications of the euro crisis. Since retiring from Clifford Chance, Michael has been a partner in Grimaldi Studio Legale, an independent Italian law firm which he co-founded in 1993 with fellow professional Vittorio Grimaldi, which was part of Clifford Chance until 2002.

Nick played a leading role in successfully developing and managing what became a leading City based advisory firm from 1993 to 2011, initially as a client adviser and for the latter 8 years as the CEO and Chairman of the Investment Committee. During this time, Nick served an ever growing number of clients, many sourced through personal recommendation, in what was a difficult period for investment and financial advisers generally. His passion was and remains to provide proper independent financial advice without the conflicts of interest, which have become an increasingly prominent part of the financial services industry. Nick provides advice to Partners / retired Partners of leading City law and accountancy practices, entrepreneurs, executives in industry, family estates and charities. He is also a trustee and executor for a number of families. Apart from his business building and risk management skills, Nick is well known as an adviser for listening and understanding the intrinsic strategic financial planning and investment needs of clients, and for being on their side of the table. He formed London Wall Partners to maintain total independence and ensure first and foremost that clients' best interests remain the priority. Peter is a senior corporate and finance lawyer with a career spanning over 25 years as a partner in two leading international law firms, Allen & Overy LLP ("A&O") and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP ("Debevoise"). He qualified as a solicitor in 1981 with A&O and, having been on secondment to Chase Manhattan Loan Syndications and A&O's Dubai office, was made a partner in 1988. In 1989, he started up A&O's Paris office and spent over seven years in Paris growing the practice to more than 100 lawyers. In 2003, Peter joined Debevoise as a senior partner in their London office to lead their English-law Finance Practice and spent over 12 years developing and growing that practice in London and Europe. He also acted as partner in charge of marketing and business development activities in the London office for many years. In 2015, Peter became 'of Counsel' at Debevoise. Ruth Chadwick

Ruth has over 25 years' experience in financial services as an international risk management and compliance professional, with her formative regulatory years spent at IMRO (a precursor body to the now FCA). She held senior positions in a number of major financial institutions, including Flemings, HSBC and BNY Mellon. Latterly, Ruth was appointed Director of Investment Business at the Financial Services Commission in the British Virgin Islands. Here she regulated funds and hedge funds, wrote legislation and regulation, developed monitoring programmes, conducted enforcement cases and chaired the Offshore Group of Collective Investment Schemes Supervisors for five years. Prior to returning to the UK, Ruth spent time as a consultant to the IMF, working with fledgling offshore financial services jurisdictions. Ruth is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy and holds a degree in Pharmacology from the University of Liverpool. When not working, Ruth enjoys outdoor pursuits such as sailing, hiking and gardening. She also loves to cook for friends and family.

Stuart has managed investments professionally for over 30 years, starting his career in the City as a UK equity fund manager at Kleinwort Benson in 1983; his subsequent experience at houses such as Morgan Grenfell, James Capel/HSBC and AXA developed his expertise across a global range of asset classes and financial instruments. Throughout his career, he has been involved in asset allocation for UK funds such as pension funds and charities, and he has also been a rated manager of unit and investment trusts. He joined London Wall Partners in 2015 from Aerion Fund Management, the in-house fund manager for the National Grid UK Pension Scheme; as Head of Equities there, he was part of the senior team setting investment policy and he also led manager selection in a range of global equity markets. Stuart studied Metallurgy and Materials Science at St John's College, Cambridge, where he was also a choral scholar. Away from the office, Stuart seeks to spend as much time as family commitments permit, indulging his passion for choral music and opera.

Most recently, he was Chief Risk Officer of Allianz Asset Management, with 1.8 trillion assets under management.
