After leaving full time education I spent a number of years in the Horse Racing industry. I have since spent over twenty years as a client facing adviser. Being a family man, with mortgages and a business to run I am extremely familiar with the day to day issues that we are all facing.

I joined Sense Financial in 2015 following a year's maternity leave. I had worked as an Estate Agency based mortgage advisor since I graduated in 2005.. I now have 3 young children, so I am fully aware of the challenges which face busy families. I love to help people find their ideal home! I get great satisfaction from seeing a client who has no idea what they can buy, or someone that may think they will never be able to get a mortgage, get the keys to their own home. I like a challenge so I don't shy away from complex mortgage circumstances. I have a lot of experience in affordable housing schemes, adverse lending and new builds.
I started my working life managing a petrol station then a chef and then thought about being teacher but realised this was not the life for me. I started my career in Financial services with Swinton Insurance. I moved to Sense Financial in 2005 as office manager and have been here ever since ensuring the admin for all our clients runs smoothly.
I am married to Garry and have a grown up son. I love watching football although I am not a great player, this role was left to my dad who was a Busby Babe. I also love to watch the contemporary ballet. Especially Matthew Bourne Productions
I hold the CeMAP qualification and I am also a qualified nurse. This can be a great benefit when discussing medical conditions and the often complex terminology used by medical professionals and insurers alike.
I have always had a passion for helping people. I like to use an holistic approach for my clients in helping them get the outcomes they desire.
I have been in financial services since 1987, initially with the Prudential, then in 1994 commenced a four-year period with Britannia Building Society, gaining mortgage knowledge and experience in this field of financial services and advise.
I then spent several years on my own, building up my client bank of valuable mortgage clients and in 2001 became a founder member of Sense Financial where for many years now I have serviced a very large client bank and referrals in regard to mortgage and protection advice and guidance in a field that I specialise in with face to face meetings and regular reviews.
In my spare time I am involved in non-league football and have been for almost 30 years, presently at Curzon Ashton FC where I am a Director and Board member. I also enjoy watching cricket and support my local club, Denton West CC in the Greater Manchester League.
