UNIFORM SCHOOLWEAR - Key Persons

Bernard Bunting

Bernard Bunting started a children's clothing company, The Children's Warehouse, in 1994 not long after the birth of their second child, Anna. The Children's Warehouse, based in London, had a strong reputation for the design and manufacture of high quality children's clothes; so much so that parents asked schools to enlist The Children's Warehouse to manufacture school uniform - and so that's exactly what they did. By 2007 The Children's Warehouse had grown significantly in the independent school uniform sector in London. A chance phone call that year led the Bunting's to acquire Perry, a Leeds based factory that had been firmly established as manufacturing distinctive school uniforms here in the UK since 1946. Since then, the Bunting's have grown Perry to become leaders in innovation and design as a supplier of uniforms to schools, universities and clubs. We operate close to our original locations with our factory and warehouse in Armley, West Leeds, and three showrooms in Knightsbridge, London.
