Alan Webb

Alan is an experienced coach and facilitator with over 20 years of Board level experience in the NHS. He specialises in providing senior support to organisations and individuals to help them deliver against key challenges and targets.He was formally Accountable Officer for 3 CCGs in East Berkshire with a budget of over £450M and a population of 450,000. He led these 3 organisations from establishment to successful delivery including a significant redesign of the provider landscape that required wide-ranging partnership work and leadership skills. Alan's specialism is helping organisations and individuals achieve their full potential. He has significant experience of helping organisations navigate complex change. He is skilled at helping systems work together to find innovative solutions. He has worked with clinical and management professionals, board members and politicians, to deliver change across services and organisations. He is a qualified coach and has worked with a range of senior professionals across health and social care to support their professional development. Recent projects include designing and supporting the delivery of a range of leadership programmes for senior clinicians; supporting CCG Chairs to work in a new collaborative environment; working with CCG Governing Bodies to support partnership working and improved patient and public engagement. Facilitating workshops with emerging PCNs to help them navigate early stages of establishment. He is a facilitator for the NHS Leadership Academy Nye Bevan Programme. Alan is also Chair of Active Oxfordshire, one of 43 Active Partnerships working nationally to contribute to the Government's outcomes for public investment in physical activity and sport. He lives in Oxford although he travels widely across the country to work with clients.

Hilary Samson-Barry

Hilary is an individual and group coach working extensively with chief executives, directors, boards, clinicians, commissioning teams and policy leads across health and social care, local authorities, housing, police and central government. Hilary also works with a number of organisations in the voluntary sector on a paid and pro-bono basis. She is currently leading a volunteer business mentoring programme for a federated national charity, which has mentored over 100 CEOs over the last 3 years; is a Trustee of Bipolar UK, an independent advisor to Mind and supports a number of hospice CEOs and directors. For 6 years, Hilary was a Trustee and Chair of Audit Committee at Scope, the national disability charity. She has also been a secondary school governor and an active member of church and community initiatives. Hilary combines strong innovative thinking, drive and passion, with a challenge and compassion and a strong intellect. Over 25 years in public sector she has worked at director level in NHS and in Department of Health, latterly as Director of Partnerships for Children, Families and Maternity. In the Greater London Authority, she set up the health functions for the first Mayor and the London Health Commission - a public, private, voluntary sector partnership committed to improving health and tackling inequalities across London. As a director of the Women and Equality Unit in Cabinet Office and Department of Trade & Industry she introduced the first cross government target on gender equality and initiated and ran innovative, successful women's pay and productivity programmes in partnership with private sector leaders and a range of academics, including a FTSE 100 women's mentoring programme. Hilary also worked in the private sector as a general management consultant with a leading international professional services firm working extensively in Europe and North America, consulting to FTSE and Fortune 100 companies on strategy and organisation effectiveness. Hilary is an accredited leadership coach with both the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations and Time to Think Thinking Environment. She is also qualified in Myers Briggs personality type assessment Step I & II, a practitioner in systemic constellations, NLP, mindfulness, is a Mytho Self facilitator and accredited Political Savvy trainer. Hilary has degrees in Economics and Geography from University of Exeter, an MBA from University of Cranfield and an Honorary Doctorate from University of Greenwich. She attended the Leicester Group Relations Conference in 2014. She has regular supervision and actively pursues continuous professional and personal development.

Mark works in a variety of consultancy and voluntary roles supporting the health, social care and voluntary sectors. He has more than 30 years of leadership experience across the NHS, including roles as a PCT Chief Executive, and latterly as Chief Officer of NHS North Norfolk CCG. Mark's career began in NHS finance and, in the past, has worked as Deputy CEO and Director of Finance in a Mental Health Trust. He now works as a Director of a Management Consultancy, Board Member of a new Primary Care Provider organisation, and he has recently supported transformation work in the Greater Manchester health and care system. He is also a member of the Department of Health's Independent Reconfiguration Panel which advises the Secretary of State on contested NHS service changes. Mark is Vice Chairman of Julian Support, a successful provider of mental health services in East Anglia, and also works as a volunteer for Age UK.

Sally Kemp

Sally is an experienced facilitator and coach, specialising in applying her professional consultancy skills and in-depth knowledge of the health sector to individuals, teams and organisations to optimise their delivery. She was formerly the Chairman of NHS Berkshire, the commissioning organisation responsible for planning and overseeing health services with a budget of over £1.2bn. She holds a portfolio of appointments that give her a broad perspective on care delivery and futures, including working with a Clinical Commissioning Group and a local housing association. Her current portfolio of consultancy work includes leadership development, team building and coaching support for Clinical Commissioning Groups, GPs, operational services and regional bodies. Examples include delivering culture change programmes to services in Foundation Trusts, supporting the development of Clinical Commissioning Groups and Health and Wellbeing Boards, and advising commercial clients on managing risk in their dealings with the NHS. Sally's previous career was withIBM's professional services division where she undertook a variety of roles from project management, business management and technical and management consultancy across a number of industries, including healthcare. During this time, she proved her ability to manage high visibility projects with large teams, tight deadlines and significant impact on the client's business. Underpinning all Sally's work is a strong theme of supporting and enabling individuals and teams to maximise their contribution. Sheila Childerhouse

Sheila Childerhouse has a wide breadth of experience within the public and voluntary/community sector. She brings an extensive network in the Health Service and has served for various local and regional Health bodies since 1984 in non-executive and chair roles. She led PCTs from 2000 and latterly she chaired NHS Norfolk & Waveney. She has also chaired provider trusts including Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust and is a non-executive director of the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust. Sheila's original background was in education and she was a local authority member for over 20 years, chairing major committees including holding the portfolio for Social Well-being. She has led rural and urban regeneration organisations, most significantly Keystone Development Trust, one of the largest trusts of its kind in the country. Sheila is a partner in a farming business and was a member of the board of the East of England Development Agency, and deputy chair from 2009, leading on economic participation and social inclusion. Currently Sheila is Chair of Anglian Community Enterprise, a multi award-winning organisation, providing a wide range of high quality NHS community health services to the population of North East Essex and more widely in East Anglia. Anglian Community Enterprise is a social enterprise, limited by shares and employee owned. As an experienced coach and facilitator Sheila is developing a consultancy portfolio working with a range of leaders in health, social care and third sector organisations. This includes executive coaching and a range of individual and organisational development.
