A native of Brunswick, Ashley Sanford graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Accounting.
She returned to Brunswick after college and worked for a non-profit, which managed research grants for the Federal Government. While working there, she handled all their accounting and bookkeeping.
At Arline & Wiggins, Ashley's primary focus will be working with a variety of clients in needs relating to general bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, and some non-profit work. Ashley is excited to be working in public accounting and getting to use her people skills to help serve clients' needs.
Ashley and her husband live in Brunswick and have a daughter, Raegan. She enjoys going to the beach and pool and has recently taken up the hobby of revamping furniture. Perhaps the Arline & Wiggins office is going to look even better soon!

Elaine Brown is from Decatur, Alabama and graduated from Auburn University in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Business Administration.
Elaine and her husband moved to Brunswick where she managed a dentist's office for seven years. Eventually she decided she wanted to get back into accounting, and through a contact she joined the Arline & Wiggins team. Since coming onboard, Elaine is enjoying working in accounting again and loves being in a positive and fun environment. Her primary responsibilities include assisting clients with general bookkeeping, financial statement compilations, sales tax, bill pay, and payroll. She also works with Joel to coordinate tax and financial planning.
Elaine resides in Brunswick with her husband and two boys. She loves to spend time with them and to take them to all their various sports and activities. Her favorite thing about working at Arline & Wiggins is the family atmosphere that her fun coworkers create and being able to work with wonderful clients.

After graduating from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting in 1994, Jenny started her accounting career at another local CPA firm where her main areas of focus were audit (Non-profit, governmental, HUD and financial institutions) and individual income tax. She took a break from full-time work after her children were born, and worked for several years as an independent contractor for local CPA firms and small businesses, where she enhanced her skills in auditing, accounting, and individual and business income taxation. In 2005, the friendly people, relaxed atmosphere, stimulating work, and great clients lured her back to full-time work at our firm. There is no doubt that Jenny is here to stay - she became a partner of the firm in 2012.
Jenny is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jenny grew up on St. Simons Island, where she lives with her husband and two children. She enjoys biking, kayaking, going to the beach - just getting outdoors. She is also known for her captivating smile, quick wit, and is quite the flip-flop aficionado!
Since August 2015, Jessica Martin has been a vital part of the Arline & Wiggins group as an administrative assistant. She holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Armstrong Atlantic State University and has worked in various accounting and management positions throughout her career.
At Arline & Wiggins, Jessica assists with assembling tax returns, financial statement compilations, keypunching credit card and bank statements, answering the phone, and helping clients with anything they may need. She enjoys working at Arline & Wiggins because of the wonderful people who enjoy laughing and joking even when times are stressful!
Jessica and her husband enjoy cooking, traveling, and spending time with their three boys, but when she's not focused on family she can be found watching the Gameshow Network. Her dream is to one day be on Family Feud…but she's still working on getting the audition tape just right!

Joel Arline was born in Thomasville, Georgia and graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting in 1992. In September of 1997, he became a Licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Prior to opening his accounting practice in 1997, he gained experience at several companies. At a Fortune 500 Company, Joel was an internal auditor and worked extensively with outside auditors, Price Waterhouse. Joel moved to St. Simons Island in 1993 and worked with a Local CPA firm in Brunswick from 1993 to 1997.
Joel opened his accounting practice in October 1997. The practice, located at 1606 Reynolds Street is a full service accounting firm preparing tax returns (corporate, partnerships, trusts, estates and individuals), financial statement reviews and compilations, payroll and sales tax services and consulting. Joel has worked with clients at all stages from start-up to merger, sale or retirement.
Joel is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Joel holds several positions in the community: development committee and board member at Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation, finance chairman at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, treasurer of the board at Heroes for Health, board member of Frederica Academy and board member for PillowGrace Project.
Joel resides on St. Simons Island with his wife (Alison) and two children (Pope and Helen) and enjoys golfing, traveling and reading in his spare time.

Katie Tindol works as a nonprofit and governmental auditor with the team at Arline and Wiggins. She also works on compilations and reviews for certain clients, and occasionally completes tax returns for nonprofit 990s and individuals. She is passionate about working with nonprofits and finds her work to be challenging and inspiring.
Prior to joining Arline and Wiggins, Katie worked as a nonprofit and governmental auditor for Mauldin & Jenkins, a firm based in Atlanta. She graduated from The University of North Georgia with a bachelor's degree in accounting, and she is currently studying to take the CPA exam.
Her favorite part about working at Arline and Wiggins is the camaraderie and uplifting environment in the office, which she says is not an easy thing to find in public accounting. She appreciates that everyone works as a team and pitches in together to get the job done.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, who she met while he was vacationing on St. Simons. When she isn't studying or working, you can find her exercising, walking her dogs in the neighborhood or on the beach, painting and drawing, and spending time with her family.
Kristie has been working with Joel Arline as an accountant since 2010. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and earned an Associate in Science in Business Administration from the Coastal Georgia Community College in 2001. Kristie also completed her Certification in IRA's and Principles of Banking from the Institute of American Bankers in 1996.
Kristie has worked with in accounting and finance since 1999, starting with Bank of America and working with several local CPA firms. Kristie has many years of experience in billing, payroll, compiling financials statements, managing accounts payable and sales tax services. Kristie is our experienced accountant to our medical professional clients in our firm.
While away from work, Kristie enjoys riding bikes and going to the beach with her daughter. Of course she has to be out in front. Don't even try to compete!
Lindsey Kennedy has lived in St. Simons Island most of her life. She is a graduate of Glynn Academy in Brunswick, GA. Lindsey earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia in 2003 and her Masters of Accountancy from the University of Georgia in 2004. After graduation, Lindsey work for a regional CPA firm in the tax and audit areas.
Lindsey is affiliated with Arline & Wiggins in the tax department. Lindsey's primary focus with Arline & Wiggins is preparing and planning for our income tax clients (Corporation, Partnerships and Individuals). Lindsey is also a member of our tax research team.
Lindsey resides on St. Simons Island with her husband and three boys. She devotes much of her time to rearing their three boys (well four boys, including her husband). Lindsey enjoys all outdoor activities with her family and jogging.
Matt O'Neal joined the Arline and Wiggins team in 2018 as an accountant. Having previously interned with Arline and Wiggins, Matt now works in general bookkeeping, tax preparation, financial statement compilations, payroll, sales tax and bill pay. He earned his Bachelor's of Science in accounting from Western Governors University and worked for 12 years at a Fortune 40 retailer in management prior to beginning a full-time accounting career.
A native of Brunswick and a 2003 graduate of Glynn Academy, Matt enjoys working in the relaxed, family atmosphere at Arline and Wiggins and appreciates that everyone is comfortable together and happy to lend a hand in order to accomplish a goal.
Matt holds a Georgia real estate sales license and is married to his wife Sarah, who has also worked off and on at Arline and Wiggins. He is an avid traveler, movie buff, and die-hard UGA fan. He also enjoys completing genealogical research and he's already uncovered more than 100,000 members of his family tree!
Shannon Miller graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 2004 and a Masters of Accounting in 2005. She also earned an Associate of Science in Accounting in 2002 from Coastal Georgia Community College in Brunswick.
Prior to joining Arline Wiggins, she worked for another local CPA firm for 6 years as a staff accountant and several retail/restaurants in their accounting department.
Shannon is an accountant with experience in compiling financial statements, payroll and sales tax services. Shannon is our "go to" restaurant accountant.

Shari Lopez joined the team at Arline & Wiggins in 2015, after moving from Lake Mary, Florida. Shari holds a bachelor's degree in management information systems from Florida International University and a master's degree in accounting and financial management from Keller Graduate School of Management. As an accountant with Arline & Wiggins, Shari works on many things including compilations, taxes, auditing, and bookkeeping. Prior to joining Arline & Wiggins, Shari spent the last ten years as a Controller of a construction company. She enjoys working at Arline & Wiggins because it is very family-oriented and is an overall great place to work.
Suzanne joined the Arline & Wiggins team in 2017 at the Hinesville location. She has worked as a Senior Accountant for 21 years and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with a minor in Business Management from Georgia Southern University.
Originally from St. Simons Island, and now living in Glennville, Georgia, Suzanne's work with Arline & Wiggins includes preparing compilation reports, payroll and sales tax, tax returns and assisting in tax planning. She also has extensive background in farm, convenience store, and small business accounting. Outside of the office Suzanne serves as Vice Chairman of the Glennville Recreation Board and Treasurer of the Harmony United Methodist Church. She says what she loves most about working at Arline & Wiggins is the positive team environment, up to date technology, and that they all work together as one big happy family!
Suzanne and her husband have been married for 25 years and have five children (4 sons, 1 daughter) and live on a small farm where they raise cows, chickens, and turkeys. They love football, the beach, and going to Disney World - which they've actually been to more than 20 times!
graduated as Cum Laude from South University in Savannah, GA in 1992 with a degree in Accounting and Business Management. Now manager of the new Hinesville location, Tammy has been with Arline & Wiggins since 2006.
Tammy has worked in public and private accounting for 20 years. She provides CFO services managing cash flow for small businesses. Tammy has experience preparing payroll and sales tax, managing accounts payable and compiling financial statements. Cash flow, union reporting, and analysis reports for management are a few of her specialties. Tammy enjoys working in public accounting since it allows her to work with various industries. She also serves as Treasurer at New Life Family Church.
Tammy and her husband, Mike, reside in Hinesville. They have three children and eight grandchildren, three of which were born in the same year! Her hobbies include reading, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is also our resident cupcake chef!
Wendy Boho is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1996 with a Bachelors of Business Accounting. She is a certified public accountant.
Prior to joining the Arline & Wiggins team, Wendy worked predominantly in corporate accounting for 13 years for Sara Lee and CTI. Her husband was relocated to St. Simons for his job, so she left the world of corporate accounting and joined Arline & Wiggins, where she focuses on compilations and taxes. Wendy enjoys working in a small office and community, and she really enjoys the flexibility afforded to her at Arline & Wiggins.
Wendy and her husband reside on St. Simons with their two children. She enjoys running, the beach, and spending time with her family. It took moving to the South for Wendy to finally be able to wake up to warm and sunny days!
