BILL FARRELL

I was born in the UK and lived there until 1995. In 1995, I migrated to Auckland, which is now very much my home. I have and value both my UK and New Zealand Citizenships, and I believe that my life experience contributes a lot to my work. I also believe that being qualified and Registered as both a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist and as a Psychotherapist gives me a range of perspectives and resources to draw on. In the course of my career, I have worked in health services (including adult mental health, child and family mental health, and child health and development), in a university counselling service, and as a university senior lecturer. In Auckland, I worked for some years at the former Auckland Family Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre Inc. (AFCP), where I was Head of Training, and in a group private practice with colleagues, moving to work in full-time solo practice from my current office in 2002...
