Bob Ransford

Job Titles:

Bob oversees all new real estate development projects. He leads Century Group's Development Team as it stewards projects from acquisition through entitlements, design, construction oversight, marketing and customer care. Bob has three decades of experience in the real estate development sector as a senior development executive and an urban designer, with a specialty in effective public process. Bob has a Certificate in Urban Design from SFU and holds accreditation with the Congress for the New Urbanism. He has studied charrette planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and site planning at UBC. Bob is a long-time expert commentator and writer on housing and urban development issues, served as a regular columnist with the Vancouver Sun, and governed a number of non-profit organizations and foundations. Bob enjoys painting, photography, the culinary arts, and visiting cities around the world.

Craig Hewitt

As a Director, Construction, Craig helps to provide Century Group's Construction Division with leadership and guidance, assisting both external stakeholders and internal construction teams through the complete project lifecycle from pre-construction to occupancy permit, overseeing scheduling, negotiation, as well as subcontractor and supplier coordination. Craig's career began over 20 years ago, when he graduated with a Construction Management degree with Honours in London, England where his career then transitioned into Management working as a General Contractor. Craig has managed a diverse range of projects within his experience portfolio, which includes Residential, Industrial, Commercial/Institutional including Healthcare and Military, as well as Office and Retail including various Renovation and Tenant Improvement projects both in Canada and the U.K. In his spare time, Craig loves being a father of two children and is a keen fan and player of soccer and golf with an added passion for collecting vinyl records!

David Hanson

Drew Temple

Drew is a senior executive team member, overseeing all aspects of the accounting, treasury, and tax functions for Century's group of companies. He is responsible for business planning and securing financing for Century Group's portfolio of projects and assets while ensuring that risk-management procedures and internal controls are in place for the organization's diverse businesses. Drew is passionate about technology and its impact on the real estate development, construction, and property management industries. Drew began his professional career conducting audits in the real estate sector for a major financial services company. He received his Chartered Professional Accountant designation, earning a spot on the honour roll for his top 50 final exam placement (out of 6,000 registrants). He then worked as an accountant for a major Lower Mainland developer before joining Century Group as a senior finance leader in 2018. After office hours, Drew enjoys tackling home renovations and keeping up with his two young children. He also enjoys traveling to destinations on his lengthy bucket list.

Jeremy Gruman

Jeremy oversees and leads information systems from idea to execution throughout Century Group and its diverse set of operating businesses. He embraces people-centred strategies for technology adoption and supports efficient business process with an informed, practical approach to how technology serves the company overall. Jeremy is a well-seasoned generalist with experience in the design and implementation of digital solutions built on networks, databases, cloud-based systems, workstations, and the web. In addition to technology, he has a strong background in business and the arts, architecture and design, hospitality, music, and film. Jeremy studied science, business administration, music, and economics at a liberal arts university. Here, he produced a weekly radio show, a monthly radio station magazine and several newspapers, and spearheaded a move to digital production. As well as being a technology enthusiast, Jeremy is a dad and husband, and co-owner of Vancouver's award-winning Pizzeria Barbarella. A reformed punk musician, Jeremy played drums and violin in an indie band, The Clips, in the early 2000s.

Richard Morley

Richard oversees all property operations and maintenance, project management and energy management, as well as all sustainability objectives for Century Group. He is keenly focused on running efficient facilities and has led teams to win internationally-recognized awards for building management excellence. Richard started his career as a Shift Engineer and has a thorough and holistic understanding of all aspects of facilities management and maintenance. He brings decades of diverse facilities management experience, including municipal buildings for the City of Burnaby and AAA Class, mixed-use, commercial office buildings. Educated at BCIT in Engineering and Project Management, he is a fourth class Power Engineer, with Systems Maintenance Administrator designation, and previously served as a BC Hydro sponsored Energy Manager. Richard enjoys downhill and cross-country mountain biking, and snowboarding at local mountains.

Robert Freimanis

As a Project Director, Robert provides Century Group's construction division with valuable leadership guiding and assisting both external stakeholders and internal construction teams through the design process, construction execution, and the delivery of our high-rise projects. Our Pre-Construction/Estimating and Project Management Departments both welcome and utilize Robert's expertise and broad professional experience to influence and achieve positive project outcomes. Robert's three-decade-long construction industry career working on a diverse portfolio of industrial, retail, office, residential, and high-rise projects provides Century Group with a wealth of experience. He is a highly skilled construction professional that has honed his craft working for Canadian companies as well as with firms operating in countries such as Dubai, Riyadh, Amman and Calcutta. He is a Civil Engineer with a Master's degree in Engineering.

Ryan Bos

As BlueCity Construction's General Superintendent, Ryan is responsible for the smooth operation of all on-site activities for all of our self-performed construction projects. He supervises and supports our Site Superintendents and site staff from project execution through to project close-out ensuring the best-in-class project collaboration and partnership between our Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, and Consultants. In addition, Ryan supports all of our active projects with the appropriate levels of skilled labour, equipment, and materials to maintain schedule, ensuring project quality and site safety standards. Ryan has been in the construction industry since 1995 and is both a Red Seal Carpenter and Gold Seal Superintendent. Prior to joining Century Group in 2019, he held the position of Site Superintendent at a large construction management firm. Since 2002, he has managed commercial, residential, recreational, and institutional projects valued at close to $200 million. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys the outdoors with his family, pursuing activities like gardening, hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoys travelling to new destinations around the world.

Sean Hodgins - President

Sean is a sustainable development practitioner, community visionary, innovation champion and leader of the Century Group executive team. His passion is to create community, both within the company and through real estate development projects. As a second-generation family leader, Sean stepped in as President for Century Group for his father George Hodgins in 2006. Sean's leadership philosophy is that ‘there is never a simple answer to anything worth doing.' His vision is to build a sustainable, innovative company that challenges the status quo of the development business. His approach is to build neighbourhoods and public spaces where people can conveniently access jobs, transportation options and local amenities, as well as to integrate sustainability measures that foster community, improve building performance and conserve resources. Sean enjoys travelling to historic points of interest, and ‘bike camping': the latest trend involving bicycles and every available camping convenience to better enjoy the journey.

Stacey Cheverie

Stacey plays an integral role in strategy development and tactical plans to communicate with our customers, residents, employees, and the public. She plays an active role in community marketing, including the coordination of community events and public consultation. She also leads the development of digital programs, proactive communications plans, and manages advertising campaigns. Stacey comes to Century Group with years of experience in marketing and public relations. She is a seasoned communications professional who combines strategic problem-solving with enthusiasm and passion for each and every project she works on. She has experience with several national and international brands spanning the tech, consumer event, hospitality and not-for-profit sectors. A proud mom of two, Stacey enjoys time with her family and hunting down statement furniture pieces for her updated heritage home.

Tanya leads the strategic direction for Bria Communities, is responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of Bria, and ensures brand standards and values are developed, implemented and maintained. Tanya has decades of experience in independent seniors' living, assisted living and community care settings. She is a Registered Nurse with a Master's Degree in Health Administration. Her passion is driven from the roots of serving others, and she values ongoing education, creativity and continual improvement. Tanya is a member of many professional and industry organizations, including the BC Seniors Living Association, Canadian College of Health Leaders, College of Registered Nurses of BC, and BC Care Providers Association. Tanya loves the outdoors, with a passion for travel. In her spare time, she enjoys doing various activities with her family and planning for her next travel destination.
