He has a broad knowledge in retail, wholesale distribution, financial services, e-commerce, information systems and professional services.

Larry Forman

Mr. Forman is a technology executive with over twenty years experience creating value through managing, investing in, and acquiring companies in a number of vertical markets. He has broad industry knowledge in financial services, e-commerce, enterprise-level information systems, healthcare, and software. Mr. Forman was an Associate in two Texas-based venture capital funds, Sunwestern Investment Group and The Waterman Group, where he made investments in technology companies and LBO's (e.g. Dr. Pepper/7 Up). He started his career as Vice President, Sales and Marketing, at UAI/Phoenix-Hecht, a RTP, NC-based financial services software company. Here he made his first acquisition: Chicago-based Phoenix-Hecht.

Mark D. Gagné - CEO, Founder

Mark D. Gagné is the managing partner and co-founder of Decagon Partners. Mr. Gagné is the author of "The Decagon Theory" from which the company's name and approach to accelerating and maximizing shareholder value are derived. Mr. Gagné is a seasoned executive with over twenty-five years professional experience with over twenty years as a C-level executive driving the profitability and growth of both public and private companies in a broad range of industries including: software, internet and database technologies, direct marketing, hospitality, e-commerce, telecommunications and construction. Mr. Gagné's areas of expertise include: Mr. Gagne was also Chief Financial Officer of The Trodella Companies, a private holding company comprising three construction services companies. Mr. Gagne worked for two CPA firms, including Arthur Andersen, and is a licensed CPA. He has a BS with Honors in Accounting from the University of Vermont.
