The Davis Automotive Group takes its roots back to Cleveland Heights, Ohio when it was acquired by Jeff Davis in 1991. The Group included Jaguar Cleveland, BMW Cleveland, Volvo Cleveland, and Land Rover Cleveland at the time. In 1997 the Group moved to its present location in Solon, Ohio. Some changes came along with the move; the Volvo franchise was dissolved and Land Rover Cleveland changed its name to Land Rover Solon.
