We are committed to the expository preaching of Scripture-that is, the clear explanation of what God's word says and the personal application of that word to God's people. We are committed to preaching the whole counsel of God contained in the books of the Bible for the building up of the people of God... We believe that any power in preaching comes from God and his word, not from the preaching. It is the word of God that is "living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account" (Hebrews 4:12-13)... We are committed to a biblical worldview. We want to think Christianly about all of life. How we answer the questions "How did we get here?" (Creation), "What went wrong?" (Fall), "What is the solution?" (Redemption), and "Where are we going?"..
