Growtheatre is a theatre company with a difference. We believe that by developing theatre and creative projects inspired by the environment, landscape and the communities that we work in, we bring about a greater sense of belonging... Growtheatre is passionate about collaborating with local people to create work in response to the places where we live, work and play. You will find us in places like parks, local woods, community centres, libraries and working with school communities... Growtheatre is a Community Interest Company, formed in 2012 by Rachel Newman and Sophie Hunter; they wanted to combine their love of making theatre, working with children, young people and communities and being outdoors and thus Growtheatre was born!
