Dr. Chu's visionary leadership led to him establishing Kauai Endodontics in 2010, after graduating from New York University Dental School and specializing at Lutheran Medical Centre. He has served as President of the Honolulu County Dental Society and the Kauai County Dental Society, showcasing his expertise and commitment to the dental community. Dr. Chu is dedicated to professional advancement, volunteering as an advisor for the University of Hawaii Pre-Dental Club and teaching at esteemed institutions. Currently, he contributes to the development and regulation of dental practices as a member of the Hawaii State Board of Dentistry. Beyond our local community, Dr. Chu's impact extends through meaningful medical missions, providing vital dental care in the Philippines, Nepal, and Burma.

Jackie combines expertise, communication, organization, integrity, and compassion with the team. With 3 years of experience, she ensures patient comfort. Outside work, she enjoys family time, fitness, exploring new places, travelling and dining out. Jackie also balances another job to support herself and her 7-year-old son.
Lynne has supported Dr Chu since day one. With 13 years of experience, she makes all patients feel at ease. She loves spending time with her husband and children. Lynne has a son named Tyruss, a daughter named Tyra, and a 2 year old granddaughter named Ariya. On her days off, she babysits and enjoys most of her free time with Ariya and her dog named Raisin.
Maile is a beaming presence at our practice. With 1.5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, she radiates unwavering positivity in her role and her genuine compassion shines through with patients. When she's not assisting, you can find her dedicated to fitness at the gym, indulging in culinary explorations at new restaurants, and exciting travels with her family. Maile cherishes every moment spent with her almost 14-year-old Boston Terrier.

Tyra is an X-ray technologist specialising in 2D/3D cone beam computed tomography scans. Tyra's expertise is matched only by her kindness, understanding, and natural ability to empathise with patients. Beyond her scanning duties, you can find her basking on the beach, exploring nature walks, or indulging at her favourite store, Target. Tyra shares a special bond with her longtime companion, a turtle named Bob, who she's had since she was in the 3rd grade.
