Hiro Tachibana

Mr. Tachibana advises clients on technology commerce & licensing and intellectual property strategy matters. He has represented a broad range of technology companies from venture-financed start-up companies to leading U.S. and international companies. He has extensive experience in advising clients on structuring, drafting and negotiating complex technology commerce transactions involving acquisition and licensing of intellectual property in the fields of the Internet, web services, software, semiconductor, consumer electronics, digital cable TV, & digital media. Mr. Tachibana also has considerable experience in advising clients on IP transaction matters in connection with M&A and venture financing transactions, and has substantial executive business management experience as vice president and general counsel of a well-funded, leading startup. Prior Experience Mr. Tachibana was previously Vice President and General Counsel of Digeo, Inc., a Paul Allen company, a partner with Fenwick & West LLP, Of Counsel with Dorsey & Whitney LLP, and corporate counsel with MIPS Computer System and Fujitsu America, Inc, respectively.
