Lee D. Sanderson specializes in providing a wide range of business valuation and forensic accounting services for divorce cases, shareholder disputes and ownership transition planning. Mr. Sanderson is a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and holds a Master of Science degree in Taxation. He is experienced as an expert witness offering expert testimony on business valuation, forensic accounting and tax matters nationwide.
Mr. Sanderson has been qualified as an expert in the Massachusetts Probate Court, the Massachusetts Superior Court, the Connecticut Superior Court and the New York Superior Court. In addition, he has previously been appointed directly the Court as the Court's Independent Forensic and Valuation Expert and has successfully participated in mediations, settlement conferences, depositions, engagements as a jointly retained expert and arbitrations. Sanderson has been a frequent lecturer and contributing author for Continuing Legal Education courses including Trying Divorce Cases, Enhance your Family Law Financial IQ, Divorce Law Basics, Uncovering The Clever Ways Spouses Hide Money in Divorce, the Impact of the New Tax Law Changes on Divorce and Business Valuation / The Methods Used to Hide Money in Divorce (the 2019 Massachusetts Bar Association's Annual Family Law Conference) He conducts training nationwide to attorneys and financial professionals on business valuation, forensic accounting and tax matters relating to litigation.
