Mrs. Farrell handles estate planning and estate administration matters of all degrees of complexity, as well as special trust and fiduciary matters. Additionally, Mrs. Farrell counsels individual and institutional clients in the areas of real property transactions and education law, as well as helping parents of children with special needs obtain the educational services to which they are entitled by law.

Mr. Rice began his practice of law as a Reginald Heber Smith Fellow, serving the poor of the New Rochelle community by facilitating the formation of not-for-profit entities. In 1970, he became associated with the firm of Bennett, Kaye & Scholly in Rockville Centre, where he practiced trial law, real estate and not-for-profit corporation law.
After becoming a partner in that firm, he worked with the attorney for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre and in 1987 was named as Diocesan Attorney, a position he held for more than 15 years. Mr. Rice has also represented the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, and has represented the church in organizing and developing more than a dozen new housing corporations which today provide affordable housing for more than 1,250 senior citizens of limited means.
During this time, he was a frequent speaker on matters involving employment law, land use and other related subjects. He has also represented higher education institutions and commercial entities.

Mr. Spellman began the practice of law as an assistant to Nassau County Supreme Court Justice Bernard F. McCaffrey, and in 1978, Mr. Spellman began a private practice which has since evolved into the current partnership.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Spellman has served as point person for a number of high profile projects, including the $180 million Mineola LIRR Grade Crossing Elimination Project and the $40 million Mineola Intermodal Center. Although his principal practice area involves municipal work, Mr. Spellman also has significant experience in adoption law, and has also been sent on special assignment to Scotland and England by the Surrogate's Court to participate in estate proceedings overseas.

Partner Peter S. Trentacoste has been with the firm since 2005. Mr. Trentacoste specializes in the areas of municipal law, zoning law, SEQRA, civil litigation, tax certiorari and appellate practice.
Mr. Trentacoste has developed substantial expertise in all areas of municipal law, and advocates for his clients before various administrative boards, as well as in local justice courts, state courts and federal courts.
