Teche Action Clinic was founded by Teche Action Board, Inc., in 1974 and was the first Federally Qualified Health Center. Every day since our founding, we have committed ourselves to providing compassionate, quality care to residents in our communities, including St. Mary, Terrebonne, St. John, Lafourche, St. James and Assumption Parishes and surrounding areas... Founded in 1974, Teche Action Clinic was Louisiana's very first Federally Qualified Clinic. Over the course of four and a half decades, we have made it our mission to provide high-quality services to patients all throughout the region... We've built our reputation on making these services accessible to people of all income and insurance levels. We offer affordable services with sliding scale payments and payment plans to make sure that our high-quality healthcare is available to everyone who needs them.
