He took the time with each dancer to ensure the perfect fit, how to break them in and care for their investments. He also followed up with us to make sure the dancer weren't having any problems breaking in their new shoes or if there were any questions or concern that came up afterwards. You can absolutely tell that Jay is first and foremost a Tapper and Teacher. He doesn't just sell shoes. Amazing experience with tap shoes canada as always. Jay always takes the time to fit my kids into their tap shoes best as possible as these shoes are an investment. He is very patient with them and really tries to help with whatever he can. Service is fantastic and always follows up with emails on when our taps will be arriving if they are not in stock. During quarantine I stumbled across Jay on a tap forum providing great advice on an issue. I reached out to him for help with an astonishingly stiff pair of Miller and Bens I'd bought in NYC. Since I bought the shoes elsewhere I expected a short response but instead got a 45 minute FaceTime tutorial. I also just recently reached out with a slippery tap problem, followed Jay's advice and it worked like a charm. He clearly is passionate about tap and is so generous with his time and energy. I just wish I lived in Canada so I could shop in person but I can totally recommend Jay for all things tap.
