Established in 1963, The Tri-City Nuclear Industrial Council, today known as Tri-City Development Council (TRIDEC) was organized for the purpose of promoting and advancing the economic strength and diversity in Benton and Franklin counties... TRIDEC is managed by a 39-member Board of Directors, comprised of representatives from the local business community, private sector leaders, and organizations committed to creating and supporting jobs in our region... To achieve this mission, TRIDEC promotes economic diversification, facilitates job creation and retention, pursues new federal missions to support stability in federally funded operations and advocates and leads the Tri-Cities community on issues of economic importance.
