WATERWAYS

The Waterways Centre is made up a small group of core staff who run the Centre, supported by a multi-disciplinary group of approx. 50 academic staff members with expertise in freshwater issues, drawn from both Universities. Postgraduate students of the Waterways Centre members make up a large freshwater research group. An Advisory Board provides direction to the Centre, and is made up of representatives from regional government, Crown Research institutes, iwi, industry and non-profit organisations. There is a Consultative Committee made up of senior university staff who help coordinate Centre activites within both universities.
