I first joined Window Depot in 2016 after working as a carpenter in both the new construction and the remodeling side for more than 15 years. I've found that my previous work on the labor side of the field gives me a better understanding of the installation and technical aspects of what we do here at Window Depot, which allows me to be a true consultant to homeowners instead of just another salesman.

I got my start in the home improvement industry knocking on doors for a large home-improvement company shortly after I turned 16. I didn't originally intend to forge a career in home improvement. In college, I got a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management and Marketing. This might seem like a far cry from home improvement, but it's an education that has helped me build one of the most trusted window and door replacement companies in the St. Louis metro area. I thrive at working through tough situations and finding resolutions-I am passionate about figuring out solutions to problems that my competitors can't recognize. Also, I just plain love helping people not only achieve their remodeling goals but doing so beyond their expectations.

I have 20 plus years of operational management. During this time I've worked in many different roles, successfully leading many different operational departments. This has given them the ability and passion for workplace efficiency. During their time away from the office, Joe is a plantsman, enjoys collecting minerals/crystals, and woodworking.

My family means everything to me, especially my almost 6-year-old granddaughter who is my favorite person on earth. That little lady makes me laugh and smile constantly. She definitely keeps me on my toes-she is the entertainer in the family for sure!
My other favorite family member is my boy, Niko. He's a pit bull I rescued 11 years ago. His ‘happy to see me' dance and slobbery kisses are one of the best things to come home to every day.
Before starting the company, I worked for State Farm Insurance for 6-1/2 years. The knowledge I gained has been very helpful in this industry. I also worked for a large home improvement company as their Marketing Director for just over six years as well.
