Dr. Fred Ventura is the app developer for Ventura Educational Systems. His work focuses on creating educational learning environments where students become engaged in active learning experiences. As an educator with experience at the elementary, secondary and college levels, Dr. Ventura brings a unique perspective to software design. He holds a doctorate in education from the University of California and has experience with all levels of K-12 education. He continues to develop new macOS, iOS, iPadIS and tvOS apps that are used in schools throughout world. Some of his latest projects include the Giants of Math and Science Series which presents the significant developments in the history of math and science. These new apps give a historical context to the milestones in the progress of math and science. Recently Ventura Educational Systems released several titles in the interactive explorer series. Some of these titles include the Interactive Solar System Explorer and the Interactive Earth Science Explorer. In partnership with California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, Ventura Educational Systems developed Atomic Tiles, an app designed to help students understand how molecules are constructed. Fred Ventura, Ph.D. is an accomplished iOS app developer and educator, who has dedicated his career to helping students learn in innovative ways. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology Science, and later went on to earn his Master's and Ph.D. in Education. His worked focused on math education and computer programming. However, he soon realized that there was a need for more engaging and interactive ways for students to learn, which led him to start Ventura Educational Systems. Through Ventura Educational Systems, Fred has created a series of innovative and engaging iOS apps that help students learn a variety of subjects, from math and science to language arts and social studies. His apps have been used by students and educators all over the world, and have received numerous accolades for their effectiveness and user-friendly design.
