Williams Kerr Translations Ltd is owned by Robert Williams, MA, MITI, MCIL, Qualified Member of the Swedish Association of Professional Translators (SFÖ), and Sheelagh Kerr, B.Soc.Sc. Robert Williams has been a professional translator since 1978 and is a long-standing Qualified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) and the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL) in the UK and the Swedish Association of Professional Translators (SFÖ). He has many years' experience of translating in a wide range of subjects from the three main Scandinavian languages, as well as Dutch, German and French. He also revises English written by non-native speakers, utilising his knowledge of the Scandinavian languages and Dutch to 'see through' the sometimes imperfect English supplied and understand how writers would express themselves if they were native speakers of English.
