GreanBase was formed in March 2011 and following the success of the Wheelbarrow Booster in 2012 on national TV Shows such as The Alan Titchmarsh Show and Dragons Den, the company became inundated by fellow gardeners with their own ideas. Coupled with the ability to bring other people's inventions to reality, the Grumpy Gardener Range was born... Formed in 2011 father and son Michael and Joe Smith created GreanBase Ltd to try and take an invention named the "Wheelbarrow Booster" to market. With over 35 years experience as a professional landscaper (with Joe assisting him from a young age working weekends and school holidays) Michael knew what tools worked best in his daily job and they wanted to share these with other people
