Chris Hopkinson

Job Titles:
  • Head of Protection Sales
Chris has over 35 years experience within Financial Services. He joined Sentinel in 2019 to provide advice to businesses and individuals in relation to all their protection requirements. This cover Group Life, Group Income Protection, Group Private Medical, Shareholder Protection, Key Person Protection along with a full range of IHT strategies and Individual Family Protection. Out of work, Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends, looking after his chickens, goats, dogs and cats. He is currently the Mayor of Kirkham. Qualifications: Full FPC, AFPC & DipPFS

Joanne Bramley

Job Titles:
  • Office Manager
Joanne joined the company, whilst still at Taylor Patterson in April 2008, as a Commercial Insurance Account Handler. Joanne was then promoted to Commercial Insurance Manager a year later and now manages a team where she is responsible for the day to day running of the Insurance Department.

Paul Maddran

Job Titles:
  • Account Executive
Paul began his career in 1987 with Pearl Assurance, attaining FPC1 accreditation and recognised sales and customer service awards. After 12 years, Paul took the decision to become a self-employed introducer to the insurance industry. Paul joined Sentinel Corporate Risk in January 2014 as an account executive. Outside of the office, Paul enjoys all forms of sport, from mountain biking to coaching and managing his eldest son's football team, as well as enjoying watching his youngest son play rugby. Qualifications: FPC1

Peter Millington

Job Titles:
  • Director
Peter's main objective at Sentinel is to help businesses and people to protect what is important to them. He enjoys working with all types of businesses and clients, including both new and existing clients. Peter joined Sentinel in 2009, but has worked within the insurance industry for over 30 years. In his spare time, Peter enjoys both fly fishing and football, as well as spending time with his family and his Cocker Spaniel, Charlie. Qualifications: ACII, Chartered Insurance Broker

Robert Cholmondeley

Job Titles:
  • Director
Robert has more than 30 years' experience in the general insurance industry and is a Chartered Insurance Broker. Robert joined Taylor Patterson in 1987 and worked closely with fellow Director, Peter Millington, to complete the buy-out of the business in 2012 which created Sentinel Corporate Risk. Robert also holds IOSH Certificates in Occupational Safety and Health, and Fire Safety and Risk Management. When not in the office, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, Holly and Willow, as well as shooting (but not at the same time!). Qualifications: ACII, Chartered Insurance Broker

Sanchia Crossley - CFO

Job Titles:
  • Finance Director
Sanchia joined the company in April 2012, but has been a finance manager for more than twelve years. Sanchia studied at Nelson and Colne College for her AAT qualifications and at Manchester for part of her CIMA. Outside of the office, Sanchia is a keen swimmer, but also enjoys dancing, walking and skiing. Qualifications: AAT, CIMA

Sarah White

Job Titles:
  • Account Handler
Sarah joined Sentinel in October 2015 and has over 25 years' experience in the insurance industry. She deals with all types of commercial insurance. Sarah has worked in various companies throughout her career, in both brokerage and insurance, as well as dealing with personal lines. At the weekends, Sarah enjoys a spot of baking, as well as a gin and tonic. She also sees a lot of bands and artists perform live - both old and new. Qualifications: Certified CII

Steve Hopkinson

Job Titles:
  • Account Handler
Steve has worked within the insurance industry for his entire working life, but joined Sentinel in November 2016. His main responsibilities include dealing with clients across a wide range of insurance products and premium sizes, as well as providing support to the directors, account executives, and their clients. Steve spends his weekends being reminded by his wife of the tasks he hasn't completed the previous weekend - and when he's not avoiding jobs around the house, you'll find him with a glass of ale, wine, or G&T in his hand (but not in the same glass).
