Charles has extensive insurance and reinsurance experience spanning 34 years. As Principal Officer & CEO, of a large multi-national, Charles oversaw the underwriting and marketing of treaty and facultative business emanating from the ASEAN Region, including both conventional and Retakaful. Most recently, as an MD and CEO, he oversaw reinsurance operations for the whole of the African continent. Charles has experience in various departments including underwriting, finance, investment (Equity & Debt), agriculture insurance & reinsurance and international operations. He has a rich experience gained as an Agriculture underwriter implementing Agriculture Insurance Schemes in India. He also successfully implemented Enterprise Risk Management and was actively involved in implementing one of the largest crop insurance schemes in the World. Prior to joining the insurance industry, he served in the Indian Air Force and gained a Diploma in Electronics and Radio Communication Engineering. Charles also holds a degree in Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA in Finance.
Chetan began his sales career with an investment company after completing his Post Graduate studies, back in 2006. Subsequently, he moved to into the energy industry, taking on a District Manager role. Following this, Chetan transferred to the insurance industry as a broker in a London based insurance broking firm. In 2011, the experience gained up to this point prompted him to successfully found his own insurance broking firm. Upon acquisition of his company in 2016, Chetan joined the Asurit board as the Sales Director.

Chris started his career gaining insurance experience in motor claims management before moving on to a key operational role at a start-up legal services provider, helping grow the business to acquisition for £60M by an AIM listed legal services company. Chris remained within the group and went on to lead various business functions within the wider group. Further acquisition resulted in Chris leading the Client Intake function of one of the largest claimant law firms in the UK. Chris joined the group in 2020 and his operational expertise, knowledge and skill-set is perfectly aligned with the C&C Group's vision providing detail-orientated leadership in a complex market.

David is a Partner at RISCS, an award-winning independent consultancy providing captive insurance & alternative risk transfer (ART) strategic risk advice to brokers, underwriters and corporate clients. With over 24 years of international financial services experience encompassing insurance, management consulting, asset management and investment banking, he has directed and designed numerous insurance engagements for multi-national clients. He is an insurance professional focusing on risk management and corporate innovation for financial efficiency including hard-market solutions.
Prior to joining RISCS, David managed large client programs at a global corporate solutions group for 14 years. Before this, David worked as a financial services industry focused strategy consultant, a Director and Officer's (D&O) Insurance Senior Underwriter, and an investment analyst. David holds an MBA with Distinction and Strategy Concentration from London Business School, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and a BSc in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)."

Prior to joining the insurance industry, Neil managed successful multimillion-pound projects for a number of large food and drink manufacturing companies. During these projects, Neil was also responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with stringent quality and food safety standards for both existing products and potential new products. His experience also extends to sales resulting from several years spent selling a range of renewable energy and LZC technologies to both domestic and commercial customers. More recently he was also an awards judge to choose the best regional businesses and talents.
Neil joined Asurit in 2016 and within the Group oversees Quality Control, Operations and Compliance.
Our Operations Director, Dr Neil Dixon, who is leading the project commented: "This project is the first of our ESG initiatives and delivers in a variety of ways. The impact goes beyond just the removal of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, and the storage of carbon, by each tree planted as it grows. The trees planted help to improve degraded habitats, restore biodiversity and provide an economic boost to the local communities. We look forward to continuing this project and further expanding our ESG activities."
Fiaz was called to the Bar in 2011 and after several years in private practice focusing on general civil and commercial litigation, he made the transition to join us as Legal Counsel. In addition to dealing with the Group's legal interests, he is also involved in the oversight of all aspects of the group's regulatory compliance.
With over 40 years' experience in the Insurance industry, Gary joined the offices of C&C in Feb 2021 as Senior Underwriter Insurance & Reinsurance, having spent the previous 6 years as underwriter for a Lloyds Coverholder writing A&H and property business. As a former Underwriting Member of Lloyds and having managed major insurers/reinsurers in London, USA, Europe, Caribbean and South Africa, Gary has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in underwriting and captive management. During this time he has built lasting relationships with clients and intermediaries alike across the globe.

Niraz Buhari founded his frst company in 2007, at the peak of the global recession, with the view of building a business based on consumer-trust, corporate integrity and innovation. Due to the business integrity, competency and skill sets within the team, the business expanded its presence and investment in telephony, internet, mobile, insurance, the reinsurance market and the IT industry. Niraz founded two separate successful insurance businesses, in the last 7 years, with multimillion pound turn over and competing with major insurers within the same area. Niraz has been an awards judge to choose the best regional businesses and talents. Niraz has a profound interest in promoting and nurturing entrepreneurial skills within youngsters and has made several efforts, including sponsorships, to promote this.
Simon is an experienced director with a history of working in a range of industries, including the retail, distribution, and customer service industries. He became a director of Asurit in 2009 and currently heads the compliance function.
