At this point I consider Ron, Marek, and Ashley, the owners of the salon, close personal friends. We've got a great working relationship and I'm also a client. After the 5th Anniversary photoshoot we did together, we've worked on a number of advertisements for the salon and it's cool to see my images being used in print around the Chicagoland area as well as in the salon. This project was particularly fascinating because these are not models, but actual salon clients. One of my goals as a photographer is to make regular people feel like celebrities and this was the ultimate test. It was a lot of work building the set and everyone on the team was a rockstar in their own right. Special shout out to Dawn Estenor for the badass wardrobe styling...
