Andy Harrison

Andy Harrison is a Behaviour Analyst with over 10 years of experience working with individuals on the ASD spectrum. Andy earned a Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis from St. Cloud State University in May 2015 and became board certified in August of that year. Andy has worked with a range of students with various skill sets and levels of challenging behaviour. Andy is available to design home-based and school-based support plans for children, adolescents, and adults with challenging behaviour.

Bernadette Marzo

Job Titles:
  • Board Certified Behaviour Analyst
Bernadette Marzo is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst who designs and implements individualized Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She obtained her Masters degree from Sage Colleges, Troy, New York, in ABA specializing in Autism and a Graduate Academic Certificate in ABA from the University of North Texas. She has been working with children with ASD and their families for over 15 years in the Lower Mainland. Her years of experience have offered her many opportunities to collaborate not only amongst her peers but also with other disciplines.

Brianna Rosenberg

Brianna Rosenberg is a Registered Speech Language Pathologist. She received her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from Western Washington University. Brianna completed her internship under the supervision of Jenny Sojat at the ABLE developmental clinic. She has experience working with preschool, school-aged, as well as adult populations. Her area of interests includes social communication, phonological development, articulation, and language development.

Connie Ng

Connie Ng is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who received her Master of Education with a concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities from the University of British Columbia. She has been working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder for over 15 years in home-based programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a teacher for the Surrey School District and has been teaching in a classroom setting for over 10 years. Connie is also a certified PEERS® provider for both the adolescent and young adult social skills training program. Connie works in close collaboration with the family and other team members to successfully develop and implement technically sound and contextually appropriate support plans that improve student behavior and quality of life.

Dr. Glen Davies

Job Titles:
  • Director of ABLE Developmental Clinic Inc.
Dr. Glen Davies attained his PhD in Clinical and Community Psychology in 1986 from the University of BC (UBC) although his experience in the field dates back to 1975. Through his academic years at Simon Fraser University and UBC he was awarded several research awards and fellowships, including the prestigious Killam Award. Dr. Davies has specialized in supporting children, youth, and adults with disabilities. He served as the Director of Psychology at the South Fraser Child Development Centre before founding ABLE Developmental Clinic Inc. Since 1990, he has presented hundreds of workshops and presentations throughout BC on autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and many related topics in clinical child psychology. Dr. Davies was instrumental in bringing early intervention services for children with autism to BC. He served as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of BC for the landmark Auton case in which Madame Justice Allan ruled that early intensive behavioural intervention for autistic children was a medically necessary service and that governments had an obligation to provide these services. This ruling and sustained parental advocacy led to direct funding (in BC) for all children with autism in BC and comparable programs across Canada. Dr. Davies was awarded the 2002 Humanitarian Commendation by the BC Psychological Association for his "tireless efforts on behalf of families and early autism treatment in British Columbia". In addition to leading ABLE Developmental Clinic, Dr. Davies maintains a busy clinical practice, trains and supervises graduate students, and serves as a professional advisor to several organizations for individuals with disabilities.

Evelyn de Castro

Evelyn is a registered speech-language pathologist whose clinical background includes over 18 years working in a variety of settings: early intervention, public schools and in private practice settings in Ontario, Alberta and BC. She holds a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from McGill University and is certified Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC), with Professional Interest in Speech, Language & Literacy Development. She volunteers as an international RADLD (Raising Awareness of Developmental Language Disorder) ambassador and as a committee member for Canadian RADLD Ambassadors, which aim to raise awareness and share resources about Developmental Language Disorder. It is a pleasure to join ABLE clinic where she hopes to continue supporting families and children by providing high quality, evidence-informed intervention services that are both fun and functional!

Kim Houlihan

Job Titles:

Kim Houlihan is a registered speech-language pathologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of children experiencing difficulties with speech, language and social communication. She has extensive experience working with preschool and school aged children. She does lots of work with typically developing children with developmental speech delays as well as with older children having difficulty with narrative language development. Kim has a special interest in consulting with autism teams to provide goals and strategies to ensure that speech and language goals are appropriate and well supported within an ABA program.

Michelle De Beer

Michelle obtained her Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis from St. Cloud State University. She has over 15 years experience in the field of ABA and ASD, gae training, supervision, and experience to a senior consultant level for 7½ years with the UK Young Autism Project (a replication site as part of the UCLA multi-site project) in London, England. Michelle has also published research on comparing teaching methodologies in the European Journal of Behavior Analysis. Since returning to Vancouver in 2011, she has worked with children and teens in the lower mainland and the Yukon. Michelle specializes in intensive home-based ABA programs and training staff and parents in behavioural techniques and principles to create lasting behaviour change.

Monica Millar

Monica is a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA) who is currently working towards her Masters in Special Education with a concentration in Behaviour Disorders from the University of British Columbia. Monica has worked in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis over the last 6 years, implementing behaviour analytic programs for individuals between the ages of 3 to 36 years old. Monica's research area of interest includes the use of positive behaviour support and clinical psychology in the treatment of Anxiety in individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Nate Searle

Nate is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Nate's addicted to the process of behavior change, the science he loves and using it to create effective and meaningful progress in students' lives. In 19 years he's been given the opportunity to support numerous students with various disabilities and difficult profiles. Nate is adept at analyzing behavior, putting effective interventions into place that bring about appropriate and functional change. He has worked in various capacities in British Columbia and the Yukon. Nate is a Senior Associate with the Crisis Prevention Institute. Nate's current areas of practice include the treatment of anxiety, supports for behavior change and counselling using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Nicole Davies

Nicole is a speech language pathologist that specializes in working with children from the toddler years though to school age. She has experience working with a variety of children, including those with ASD, language delays, speech sound disorders, and social communication deficits. Nicole has spent time working in schools, private clinics and child development centres. She is able to complete assessments, including those for ASD and other communication concerns. Nicole also delivers treatment through one on one therapy, consultation, parent training or a combination of these approaches. Her particular area of interest is intervention with very young children and their families within a multi-disciplinary team.

Sujin Lim

Job Titles:

Sujin is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist who is fluent in English and Korean. She received her Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from McGill University. She has a passion for working with pediatric populations and has worked in a variety of settings, including daycares, clinics and schools. She has experience in assessment and treatment for articulation/phonology disorders, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), developmental dysarthria, receptive and expressive language disorders, dyslexia, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism spectrum disorder and fluency disorders. Her clinical experiences have taught her that parents/caregivers are a vital part of any treatment program and she will work with you to develop strategies and activities to facilitate speech and language development at home. She has received specialized training in PROMPT (Childhood Apraxia of Speech), the Lidcombe Program (childhood stuttering) and the Hanen: More Than Words program (language stimulation for children with ASD).
