In 2002, after more than 15 years of professional experience as a consultant in international management consulting firms and as an executive in Brazilian and multinational companies, I decided to take up the entrepreneurial challenge to create and develop my own business consulting firm.
After 10 years of running the company with a consolidated portfolio of clients, the partnership with Advancy was the best way to expand our business in Brazil and Latin America keeping our own specialisations recognized by our current clients and taking advantage of the global dimension of Advancy.

After more than 25 years working within international management consulting firms, I decided, in 2006, to apply all the knowledge I have acquired and to develop my relationships in my own consulting firm. Thus, I could design and select the most value-adding projects to my clients.
In this context the partnership with Advancy gave us the international platform to further develop the Latin American consulting market, and improve the service level to our client as a global consulting firm.
John is a Partner in the Boston Office, and leads the firm's Transactions and Private Equity practices. He holds an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School, and B.A. and M.A. degrees from Cambridge University. John also served on the Harvard Business School faculty as a Research Associate, and has been an author and contributor to published HBS case studies.
Experience and Education
John has over 25 years of consulting experience, including working as a consultant with Bain & Company, and as Managing Director with Knightsbridge Associates. Prior to Alliance, John's industry experience includes working as Vice President, Marketing for General Cinema, where he managed field marketing, and as a Media Executive for the Benton & Bowles advertising agency, covering major consumer household brands and beverages.

Michael is the President of Alliance Consulting Group - representative of Advancy in USA. Prior to founding Alliance in 1986, Michael was Vice President and Director of The Boston Consulting Group where he worked for 11 years. The relationship with Advancy gives clients seamless coverage in all major international economies.
