I wish I knew about Hawaii-based Affordable Paradise when I was booking my first trip to Oahu - it would have saved me so much time and frustration and landed me in the best accommodations the islands have to offer from the start. I had booked a place on Airbnb which was later cancelled due to the host's need to accommodate visiting family. The cancellation and re-accommodation involved several phone conversations with customer service reps who had no information about the actual rental space, its owners and the correspondence that had taken place between myself and host, or any information about my destination and other rental options. Thankfully, I was rescued by Affordable Paradise and they are now the only company I use for any trip to the islands.
