Alyeska Helicopters is located in south-central Alaska at the foothills of the Chugach Mountains. Alaska's conditions can be rugged, and pilots who fly in this region are among the most qualified in the nation. In this unique environment our students develop extra skills in rough terrain and superior knowledge of mountains and adverse weather conditions - and the scenery is always breathtaking. Learn here, fly anywhere... In 2004, we opened our doors as the only FAA-approved helicopter flight school in the state. Based in Anchorage at Merrill FIeld Airport, we offer year-round flight instruction in a state-of-the-art hangar and Robinson Helicopters Certified maintenance center built in 2014... Alyeska Helicopters in Anchorage, Alaska offers initial certification for new pilots, add-on certificate courses for current pilots and recurrent training.
