The Capital Hotel School and Training Academy was founded in January 2001; humble beginnings with 21 hospitality management students in a rented facility in Schoeman Street Forum Hatfield. Our training facilty consisted of one classroom, an office, a reception, a recreational area and cloakrooms with ample open-air parking and a small garden... Two lecturers and i facilitated all administrative and training functions with the assistance of guest lecturers, who were industry experts. The Sheraton Hotel was the new guy on the block and agreed to partner with us to provide work integrated learning for our students. We're proud to still have them as one of our esteemed practical partners today... Classic artistry and attention to detail will never go out of style. At CHS Hotel School we aspire to develop master craftsmen, driven by their passion to excel in a career in hospitality management and cheffing.
