CLEVEDON

In 1931 the school committee applied to establish a High School in Clevedon but was unsuccessful. The issue was raised again in 1945, with the school committee supporting requests for a High School to be established in Papakura. These efforts were successful, and up until more recent times, most Clevedon School children completed their education at Papakura High School after it opened in 1954... Clevedon School is a vibrant learning community in the fullest sense. Our school values Kia Kaha, Kia Atawhai and Kia Whakapono underpin all we do and we encourage our learners, both students and adults, to practise and develop these in everything... At Clevedon School, we're not just preparing students for the future; we're shaping 21st-century lifelong learners.
