Karen leads Daniel et Daniel's culinary team, overseeing menu development and facilitating the ongoing creative process that consistently delivers unique dining experiences for our clients. A recipient of the CATIE Chef of the Year Award, Karen O'Connor is one of the top Catering Chefs in North America, and is currently co-chair of the Culinary Council at the International Caterers Association.
Ken joined the team at Daniel et Daniel in 2001, and plays an integral role in supporting creative concepts related to food, décor, production and overall event logistics. Utilizing his extensive skills acquired while growing up in hotels and establishments run or owned by his parents in Newfoundland, Ken oversees procurement at Daniel et Daniel, sourcing new suppliers, specialty foods and unique products.

Laura graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a double major in Philosophy and Psychology, and a minor in Biotechnology.

With more than fifteen years in the industry, Samuel's experience ranges from agency, to client-side and most recently, venue-based event experience, where he has worked with clients ranging from global airlines to law firms to FMCG clients, and everything in between. With a strong foundation in corporate, media and VIP communications and events, Samuel's passion and attention to detail are second to none. His meticulousness paired with his unparalleled customer service help him to provide customized experiences at every touchpoint throughout the event planning and execution process. Samuel graduated from the University of Sydney with a double major in Chinese and Arabic, and he is also a certified sommelier.
With his 27 years of experience with Daniel et Daniel, Vel is a master of event logistics, and one of the best off-premise catering chef managers in the industry.
