We believe that Wiltshire Council must keep the public better informed about major developments and changes in policy. More public meetings would be useful. This would ensure the representation of more local opinions... Whatever Government is in power Labour Councillors will continue to fight for appropriate facilities and clinical services that are needed locally. We have been failed by a Primary Care Trust that has allowed huge budget deficits to mount up resulting in the proposed closure of our Community Hospital. We are yet to be convinced that the new Clinical Commissioning Groups are the best solution... Devizes Constituency Labour Party representing the people of the Devizes Constituency area
