Emilio Xavier Esposito earned his PhD in the spring of 2003 working with Professor Jeffry D Madura in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While at NDSU Emilio: Developed and taught a course on Computational Biochemistry Incorporated computational methodologies into the research of interested experimental research groups Taught several computational-based laboratory components in undergraduate chemistry laboratories Organized an annual "Computational Sciences at NDSU" poster session Directed the design and construction of the Molecular Modelling and Bioinformatics Studio In the fall of 2006 Emilio moved to Chemical Computing Group, Inc. and worked as an Applications Scientist for two years. At CCG, he was responsible for developing custom applications for fellow scientists, as well as developing and facilitating MOE training sessions.
