As Africa's only Classical and Jazz FM radio station, Fine Music Radio is mindful that it is a privilege and responsibility to share the world's most beautiful music: classical and jazz. Fine Music Radio is the only radio station in South Africa that broadcasts from a cultural centre, Artscape on the Foreshore in Cape Town. In short, FMR is peerless... FMR is committed to delivering the best possible listening experience to the classical and jazz music loving audience. Outside broadcasts, compelling content, and social initiatives allow us to meet our unique responsibilities as a community station... FMR is the only station to record and broadcast the CPO symphony concerts from the Cape Town City Hall. At the same time, we produce monthly jazz concerts at Guga S'Thebe in Langa, which we also record for later broadcast.
